Logically: We cannot make changes without open debates. We have 4 candidates to chose from today. If the object is change we need to vote and donate to the candidate with the highest polls and the biggest name. This candidate would have the best shot at getting into the debates and poke the Dems and Repubs in the eye. Since all 4 candidates agree with Ron Paul's 4 principles of liberty, this would seem the way forward. The debates have to be open. Agree?

Well then...thanks to Ron Paul you still have two choices...
Nader or McKinney...
But let me just say... I don't go to any church and if you listen to my show... I'm no saint ...but I look at more than the negatives of any candidate... I'd vote for Chuck Baldwin, Ralph Nader or Cynthia McKinney knowing that at least four major issues would be addressed... being that Chuck Baldwin campaigned for Ron Paul and is nearly identical to Ron Paul on every issue... I'm voting for him.

Mike, Your analysis of Chuck Baldwin
apppears spot on! Chuck Baldwin campaigned for Ron Paul very loudly and clearly. He offered to step aside and continue to stand "beside" Dr. Paul if he decided to accept the constitutional party offer to run as the presidential candidate on this ticket. Chuck Baldwin is an ethically honest man, not merely by simple words alone. but yet by his actions that many people are able to identify with. I am not a "fundamentalist christian". I have made my decision and I, too will be casting my vote for Chuck Baldwin.
I listened to Baldwin's interview last night
his views are almost identical with RP's, and I'm not much of a church goer myself.

Is "bible boy" an attempt at spreading fear?
Because it's a pretty lame argument compared to the guy that voted for the Patriot Act.

Probably all of the candidates are christian,
Baldwin's just more honest. And I heard an interview with him on Revolution Radio last night; he was clear on the importance of separation of church and state. He even spoke against evangelists who tasted power for the first time with the Bush administration and quickly grew drunk on it and lusted after legislation mixing religion into government.
(not precisely Baldwin's words, but the gist is correct.)
The important thing is to get as many people as possible to vote against
McCain/Obama. It's the combined 3rd party vote that will send the message. Getting open debates is key. The only organized effort I so far see is http://www.opendebates.org I don't know how to make that print as a link.
no its an attempt to mock
no its an attempt to mock those on here calling Barr a neo-con.
But its actually more true, I don't think Barr was ever a neo-con but Baldwin was and is a bibleboy. I would never vote for either a neo-con or a bibleboy, because neither one believes that I own my body, its just that simple.
Keep calling him
Keep calling him 'bibleboy'--I'll continue to use the term "Mr. Patriot Act".
Barr is a smear stain of excrement on our republic.

Baldwin is a constitutionalist

A Republic, If You Can Keep It
That doesn't say much for the Constitution party
Baldwin voted against women in the military...IN 2004!...pffft!
What's next? Burkas?
He is not a true Christian...he is a member of the wacky Christian religion.
Further, Baldwin is unproven in political office.
But hey, according to Ron Paul, we should no longer care about political views, political records, personality defects, personal integrity, etc. All we should care about is if they aren't Obama or McCain. If they aren't either of those two, they are magically delicious...so Bob Barr is back on the table.
Not that I like Barr or anything, but voting for Bob Barr counts as a non-2-party vote.
So this whole Paul/Barr fued is ridiculous! Paul created the environment where substance doesn't matter. Then Paul and Barr go at it like two drunken sailors. It's retarded!
This is the fucking slippery slope that I spoke of on 9/10 concerning the 'major announcement'.
You can all hate me for not having the right attitude and for pointing out the ridiculousness of the Paul/Barr fued, but hey, according to Ron Paul, if Adolf Hitler were running on a third party ticket, you could vote for him and be proud...so maybe, just maybe, this idea has major flaws.
Christ! We were drawn to Ron Paul because of his unflinching integrity about conservatism...but it appears that he flinched...and for what? To send a message? Further, he asks us to compromise our integrity.
If any other person asked me to do this, I'd laugh in their face...but because Paul aske me, I ain't saying no, but I ain't saying yes. I'm giving it real thought. THAT is how much Ron Paul means to me.
They gain your trust with some truth, then they screw you with that trust.
I would vote for Barr or Baldwin or even Nader

we must open the debates. It's the only way and Ron knows it, time is running out.

Run it like American Idol. Start with everybody on enough ballots to make the mathematical case, then cut back one at a time week after week. 1%, 3%, 6%, 15%... something like that?
For all our talk of supporting Dr Paul and being strict Constitutionalists, why don’t we read the Constitution and realize that Dr Paul can be elected President without appearing on a single State ballot?

For us it's all about logic, we have to be smart, they have 100's of million of dollars and both parties have huge machines in every state. If the debates aren't open to at least a 3 candidates it's over.

That other guy with the Hitler mustache is really with the Neocon Republicans and his race is done. So we don't need to consider him...whatever his name was. I think they referred to that fake candidate whose campaign is done as the Elites (B)end (O)ver (B)uddy...but right now...his name escapes me :D

It's a natural occurrence.
It's already happening.
Very few here are going to vote Nader or McKinney, but if they want to that's fine. It's their vote, and we need some leftists to abandon Obama.
Barr is effectively out after his stunt..
I'll leave the rest to your imagination.
I'd like to see them all in the debates, including Barr.
I say get all Four into the debates,
That is what Ron Paul would wish.

Unlikely,
If we sit here and do nothing other than complain about what a piece of s__t Bob Barr is. Yeah, he made a huge mistake, I don't care, I really don't. All I care about is what Ron Paul said at his news conference. He has started a movement that WILL restore America, if we only listen to him, and help him fight the good fight.
We have got to get all 4 3rd party candidates into the presidential debates.
That must be our goal, we have nothing else to do this election cycle.

At this point I'm looking at Nader because
At this point I'm looking at Nader because he's got the name and he showed up at the presser with Dr. Paul, he is getting decent polls and seems sincere about the Constitution. I mean I want RP but that ain't happening so we need an independent with a veto pen armed and dangerous

Nader agreed to the 4 points,
Not a bad choice, but if we had debate access for all 4 3rd party candidates, then Ron Paul's message would be heard by millions.
