What I think Dr. Paul was doing with the emphasis on supporting 3rd party candidates. These issues are BIGGER than party and on the "freedom" issue we should be united. This is so wonderful to see. Hopefully some will go invite them to "share" info with the Campaign for Liberty site (which is non-partisan as well). Also contact the Campaign for Liberty site and ask them to contact these people with some sort of invitation to work together. This could be fabulous!

...who've realized they've been lied to for so long.
To them I say; bravo. We do indeed have a common cause. I hope this movement grows throughout the democrats as well. Strip the voting base from under both parties until they start representing the people again.

* If something is not mentioned in The Constitution, the Tenth Amendment dictates that the issue in question should be left to the states. Abortion, Education and many other things are being dictated to the states in violation of The Constitution. This can only be changed by adding new amendments.

It's a great start in the right direction.
Doesn't look like they're having much luck recruiting. He's using logic and that's hard for many Democrats -- needs more FEELING.

Then by all means, we should all join up and let the voice of liberty be know.....I doubt if there is any hope of returning the Democratic Party to the ideals of Jefferson, just as there is little hope of dragging the Republican Party away from the Hamiltonian ideology of Lincoln. But, if there is a chance that the principles of Liberty can be spread, whether it be with those who claim to be Democrats or Republicans or anyone else for that matter then I am all for lending my voice.
I am sure however, they may not approve of all we might say....I just loaded the site down with several articles, some of which may touch a Democratic Golden Calf or two.

I think introducing them to the "personal responsibility" side of libertarianism might be a way to reach them (decriminalization of drugs, govt. out of marriage, etc.).
