class - Article I, section 3 of the Constitution requires the Senate to be divided into three classes for purposes of elections. Senators are elected to six-year terms, and every two years the members of one class—approximately one-third of the Senators—face election or reelection. Terms for Senators in Class I expire in 2013, Class II in 2009, and Class III in 2011

Correction
Larry Craig, Chuck Hagel and possibly more are NOT up for re-election, they have new candidates in their place.
I wish Ted Stevens loses the lawsuite, so that Dave Cuddy can take his place.
Don't turn your back on these vipers.
Keep calling this isn't over yet people
BJ Lawson, David Price
Since Price voted for the bailout, I pray it will turn into more votes for Lawson. Meet ups need to get the word out.
Don't turn your back on these vipers.
Keep calling this isn't over yet people
Tom Coburn and Jim Inhofe are both likely to vote no
Coburn is close to being a libertarian, and Inhofe is a decent guy.
Libera me, let the truth break, what my fears make--Leslie Phillips
Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants! Leviticus 20:5
Keep calling.

Pretty much all the
Pretty much all the republicans on this list have to go.
Sen. Durbin...
has gotten a piece of my mind already. still have not gotten a response back.
2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Does Biden have any serious competition?
It would be good to knock a kingpin

that guy,..........
would find a job somewhere else very easily, especially if Obama wins! LOL!
It wouldn't matter, he still has power in other aspects related to the government. These type of guys never really leave......they just work behind the scenes.

Actually Barasso in Wyoming
is also running for reelection, but probably not on your list because he actually wasn't elected, being put in because Senator Thomas died while in office.
Ask Debbie Stevens on Rule Of Law about Barasso
WTPRN radio network Debbie was one of the Rainbows that got swatted in a wyoming state park and i understood that Barasso was involved in some way. He needs to go too...they all need to go...EXCEPT our HERO and co-patriot Dr. Ron Paul....GOD bless him and Carol

If they Obstain in voting for this
it's the same as a yes vote.
this statement will influence these leaders to fight for us
(pardon me...I just posted this in another thread...)
"In my district and others, phone calls are 99 to 1 against this bailout as it stands!" says Tom Cole NRCC Chairman.
His job is to get Republicans reelected. Many are up for reelection, so that is why his opinion was sought.
4:15 am PST heard on Bill Bennett's radio show.
Bummer.
Neither of those worthless cows who pretend to represent me are up for reelection this time.
I did sent a note to Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein both, telling them that as dismal as their record has been to date, if they vote for the bailout, it will be the nadir of their careers in public disservice.

"The problem with trying to child-proof the world, is that it makes people neglect the far more important task of world-proofing the child." -- Hugh Daniel
Thanks - this proves my theory
Mike Crapo is NOT up for re-election, and he will vote for the bill. He has no friggin' shame. He claims the "experts" (none quoted) agree it must be done. (So, screw the constituents.)
Are there enough up for re-election to scrap the bill? My Congressman IS up for re-election, and he is opposing it, but not really FIGHTING it.
Of course he'll vote yes
He's looking for one of those cushy lobbying jobs after he leaves office. Wouldn't be surprised if it weren't with Goldman Sachs?
Here is an easy list for calling.
Get out there and act like an America!
It ain't over til it's over and Ron Paul has said it ain't over!!!
Tell your congressmen, No bailout, and while your at it we want our money back. Silver and gold.
grant
Go Ron Paul!!!
We must stop this bailout, make them at least spend another week debating it before a vote, what is the rush? I know they are planning to go on recess because of the election. So that means they give Paulson a blank check and then leave town?
grant
On this world there exists no such impossible tasks, they fear only those with perseverance.
Dont forget
Lindsey Graham is up for re-election!
Bob Conley is running against GrahamNESTY!!
vote for Bob Conley and support him at
http://www.FlatTopBob.com
Jim DeMint does not support the bail out, I called him 5 minutes ago and hes up for re-election, not in 08 but in 2010!
Allard is retiring. You can
Allard is retiring.
You can still call his office.
I was just going to say
I was just going to say that....
also, a lot of these Senators will do whatever they want, regardless of if they have an election or not. Some of them are just, unfortunately, going to be there for life (like Dick Durbin, etc.)
If we pressure the SOS's in
If we pressure the SOS's in our state to not certify their re-election due to the just cause of violating the oath of office, (the Only term of employment we give them) they won't be there for life. Fire any of them that vote for this bailout.

Don't be so sure
I think everything's up for grabs.
Once this bailout is brought
Once this bailout is brought to the floor there should be a list made of every congressman and senator that voted in favor so we can attack the enemy at the ballots.

It'll probably end up being
It'll probably end up being a voice only vote with no record of how they all voted - so we will not know who the culprits are.
No voice vote !
Otherwise we'll have a very difficult time finding out who votes to support this.

Show your support on the Ron Paul Map !
People worldwide support Dr. Paul too :-)

So long...
Gordon Smith (Or), hello David Brownlow.
Rockerfeller has to go
This guy is enemy number 1, this guy has to get voted out.
Wipe out all of Congress in the upcoming years.
Except for Ron Paul, ALL incumbents must go away. Vote against any incumbent during this election cycle and every election cycle henceforth until our representatives learn to uphold the law of the land.
It is the only thing that will slap some sense into Washington.
Any of these incumbents who
Any of these incumbents who vote for the bailout are violating their oath of office. Pressure your Secretary of State to Not certify them! We only give them one term of employment...the oath of office. If they can't stick to that one term, they should be fired.

What do you mean 2011. The
What do you mean 2011. The next election is in 2010, then in 2012....
You are correct
2011 would be the year they take office, but the election would be in 2010.
