I haven't had time to look at the new site, but the objective is political music to my ears. I can not agree more. Electing liberty minded people, as stated below is a great idea also, but the members of Congress who have kept their seats election after election HAVE TO GO. How could anyone who has been paying attention think otherwise?

Our elected officials have betrayed the voters over and over. They continually put party loyalty first and have allowed themselves to be bullied into misguided voting or sadly even having their votes bought. This can no longer be ignored or rewarded. If we continue to reelect them, then we become complicit in this charade of upholding the law of the land. WE BECOME ACCOMPLICES.

With the worst 8 years in history of violating the Constitution, the robbing and looting of the taxpayers, the obscenity of our sacred rights being taken away, with lobbyists all but writing legislation, and voter confidence down to 12%, (9% percent at one time), perhaps finally, now will be the time that the people will start to fire them. And if the newly elected member of Congress finds himself intimidated by the old timers, and violates his oath of office, than he/she also deserves to lose his job upon his reelection cycle.... Only candidates with steel backbones need apply.

Just think of it. No longer would the smell of betrayal permeate the halls of Congress.

I like the nice clean intro page. My suggestion would be to make it a little more patriotic - not for Daily Paul members, but for the general public.

A nice faint background image of the U.S. flag or the Constitution would be better overall for the general public, even though I like the current style.

I also recommend changing, "...remind them who they used to work for!" to just, "...remind them who they work for!"

Coincidentally, I received a pamphlet just yesterday from Downsize DC describing their approach to reach similar goals by using organized email and phone call bombardment, coupled with education on the topic of interest. As we all know, voting an incumbent out of office can be next to impossible and at best inefficient.

The voter bomb is a great idea and I plan to participate, but both approaches would be good to use in conjunction.

Great Idea, I just have one problem with this. Don't you think new members of Congress will be easier to scare into voting for bad legislation? Plus there are some members of Congress that are good besides Dr. Paul (Walter Jones, Dennis Kucinich, etc.). I assume you won't try to vote out the few good ones remaining, right?

At any rate, it is a great idea to cleanse Congress, afterall their approval rating is substantially low. Come to think of it, I'd imagine most of them will be voted out anyway :)

I'm hoping the new site is something that I could share with my "politically detached email buddies" (I'm sure some of you have them, they usually send the jokes, generic political jabs, prayers, etc. and wouldn't know Ron Paul from a hole in the wall) without them thinking "Oh, the poor thing has fallen into the fringes of society, she's gone off the deep end, I won't be forwarding that one on." Anyway, if it could be crafted in such a way that it would get the attention of those kinds of people, I think it would have a huge impact. This whole bailout thing has created a buzz among people who never paid attention before and this would be a great way for them to feel like they're getting involved without being considered fringe and (God forbid) getting TOO involved. Anyone agree?

I thought of something additional to help promote your site.

I propose that everyone, and I mean everyone!, with 10 bucks to spare, register a Ron Paul related domain name. Call it Ronpaulwins.com or weloveRonPaul.com, or ronPaulrocks.com. whatever you like.

With your new domain, create a single page website. Just one page.
On that page would be just a few items.

1. A paragraph introducing Ron Paul
2. A paragraph listing A Ron Paul "mission Statement".
3.links to Ron Paul video's..the best ones, especially economy related interviews and speeches.
4. a link to Michael's new site (of course)
5. a link to campaign for liberty.

almost forgot..a link that provides instructions on how to Write-in a candidate..State by state

A last attempt at a grass roots push, to get Ron's message across!

All of these sites, and I am hoping that there would be thousands, or more, would funnel web-surfers to the locations that matter.

I am hoping that these would show up in many Ron Paul Google searches. Especially if sites are named with his name, and an issue.

I hate to be a party pooper, but effecting the outcome of the Congressional elections in 5 weeks is next to impossible. You would need a person in every precinct willing to knock on every door to talk people into voting out their incumbents. If I were you I would try to concentrate on the mid-term elections in 2010. With a little organization we should be able to have an impact after working on people for two years.

Hey Michael. I just recently registered here at Daily Paul, so I am not sure if I made it into the Voter Bomb site or not. I tried to log in but got an error.
