Now is the time to really take Ron Paul's advice. He has been correct all along. First, get your debt paid off, do not go out and buy a car, house or large amounts of food and gold. What about a student loan? I would suggest you try to work your way through school, what is the hurry? What good does it do you to take on all that debt with no job guarentee only to work and pay for it later. Remember Credit/debt equals slavery.

In order for this bailout to raise money (FRNs) the government will now have to finance the debt with T-bills, but what if the government is unable to sell more Treasury bills? What if China and Japan begin to sell? Won't the Treasury be forced to mint money? Then we would have a commodity backed currency, although copper isn't my idea of the best, it is still better than paper debt.
Seems to me that if we want to take power away from the elite who benefit from the Federal government, then people need to stop holding and investing in T-bills and put wealth in their own bank. An investment in T-bills empowers the elitists controlling the Federal government. Remember T-bills are just paper, just like FRNs. Withdrawling our investment is their biggest fear. Holding onto T-bills locks up dollars as they say. I suggest investing in something other than T-bills such as your local economy, food, supplies, silver and gold. These items stimulate our economy and the individual is empowered. But, what the hell do I know?

I read on the CfL website that senators may be recalled in 18 States! They are Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Wisconsin.

I heard on BBC they say 10 R no voters and 5 D who voted NO on Monday, may well votes yes today. This will of course provide the majority for the yes vote. Hopefully some yes voters of Monday may vote No today, due to the changes.

Make people aware that there are others who are pissed about this!

I've studied personal finances, I learned how to make my dollar go further, I spend less than I earn, I have no debt other than my home - and I am on track to pay it off early. I am self employed and have a medical savings account. I have an emergency fund if an emergency comes up - I have no reason to borrow money in the future, I have removed financial risk to the best of my ability.

And if this passes - why should I continue to to be responsible? When irresponsibility is rewarded in such gross fashion, it further erodes my little fantasy I have of living in a free country - when money can be taken from me by force, to pay for others and their desire to get rich quick, without considering the risk involved, and then expecting all of us to pay for their folly.

It's like a knife to my spirit.

It makes me want to move to Galt's Gulch.

If it passes or doesn't pass, there won't be any national emergency, in my opinion. Regardless, we should all be stocking tangibles anyway--food, water, metals, etc.

It may be a little more difficult to get the number of states needed but I think state reps are more aligned with out concerns. Make sure they know that the state budgets are impacted just as much as individuals by the inflation larceny this will bring.

Although we need to be careful. If a constitutional convention is called they can add and subtract whatever they want. Could be go or bad. But a single amendment would not be so overreaching.

I just sent the following to the Gov of OK and to all the Ron Paul Republicans in OK.
Governor Henry,
I ask you to call for an emergency session of the state legislature (since they are currently out of session) if this bailout passes the congress tomorrow. I will be asking all Oklahoma Ron Paul Republicans and all other citizens to call/write/email you and ask the same thing. If this treason on us passes tomorrow, we want a no confidence vote in the US Congress from our legislature BEFORE the November elections. Yes, that includes Tom Cole and Tom Coburn. Further, we want our legislature to join the call for a constitutional amendment preventing all future private sector bailouts with public money. As you know, one way to get an amendment through is if 2/3 of the state legislatures demand it from congress.
This will be the first of I hope many emails making this request upon your office.

and all those we are inter-connected with throughout our precincts, conventions etc. and direct them to help plan this here on the Daily Paul Forum, we might have a pretty good chance of creating a citizens revolt with the idea of making our voices heard. I have no experience with this but for what its worth we may demand the following, while certainly allowing for other suggestions:

1) Overwhelming vote of no confidence in our leaders

2) We the people demand 'sound' money, not inflated fiat money

3) We demand our leaders uphold and obey our Constitution or they should be forcibly removed from office!

4) We will not take out 'infinite' loans in our great grandchildrens' names for the sake of criminal extortionists in our government!

5) We overwhelmingly nominate Dr. Ron Paul and all those elected leaders who support and understand Austrian Economics be immediately appointed to positions of Secretary of the Treasury as his advisers

People, we have to reach all those who have legal expertise on this so we can truly pull this off and learn a thing or two or three in the process!

We need people who have some good knowledge of our bicameral system procedures for a citizens revolt! The ball is going to be in ALL our courts, 3.3million citizens across this country, less all those who wanted this mayhem.

Perhaps, those campaign leaders for Ron Paul in each State (they have the email addresses of all of us) can help with the dissemination of the best plan.

Dear Governor,

Due to the fact that the senate just passed the bailout bill despite opposition from the taxpayors, I want to demand that you call an emergency session of the California state legislature and once they are sitting demand votes of NO CONFIDENCE in the US CONGRESS. Additionally we demand the legislatures to draft a constitutional amendment REPEALING the bailout bill and BARRING the congress from ever bailing out another private entity ever again. Remember, one of the ways to get a Constitutional Amendment passed is to go directly to our state legislatures and to get 2/3 of them to call for the amendment.

It is time to get serious. A vote for this bailout is tantamount to declaring open hostilities on us and we must meet political force with OVERWHELMING POLITICAL FORCE.
The states need to get ready for a fight!

Beyond a doubt, this is THE next step we the people can channel our REVOLT!! While all this back and forth is going on, we really, really have to be careful not to lose our cool.

We are being watched all over the world, people. Over 6 Billion people around the globe must see that we, citizens, are all doing everything we possibly can through our political system, otherwise, are we worthy of 'freedom' from tyranny? Was our system and its philosophy of 'self evident' sovereign rights, our Constitution, and Bill of Rights flawed? Or, was it because there were an overwhelming number of Congress, Senate, and White House officials who failed to uphold and defend its oath to our Constitution? Just who do these 'majority' of people place their allegiance anyway, if it is not for this countries laws?

Dammit, who wrote this illegal bill and all the other illegal bills since 9/11?

If we all decided to go to D.C. with our guns etc, what would that really accomplish?. Would we live to fight another day?

I say, no matter how angry and frustrated we are, we have to fight for 'moral' and 'legal' ground to gain our power. These creeps have it rigged with their police state martial law.

OK. So, its going to take people who understand our bicameral system like the back of their hand. Do we have people that know these rules right now in our group?

We have to have a plan A, plan B etc during this process. I am a newbie as a State delegate, but I am willing to learn really fast.

Does anyone know where we go to study the 'processes' like these? Is it our law libraries? State capitols? I'll go there and crash course on how to do this as a citizen, but where do we start?

By overwhelming our State legislatures en masse, calling for a type of referendum repealing this illegal bailout, a vote of no confidence in the U.S. Congress, should get the ball rolling. We have till Friday when the house votes. If it passes the house, the BALL WILL BE IN OUR COURT!

While we are at it, we might as well demand the charge of 'treason' of the president, the vice president(where is Dick anyway?), the secretary of the treasury, chairman of the Fed, those who wrote such a bill, along with all those who want it passed. Figuaratively, heads have to roll here.
