"Obsession" DVD

I noticed some fellow DPer's where expressing concern over who got the dvd. I work for a Post Office Processing and Distribution Center in western PA and I can tell you a LOT of them came through. I recall them best out of all the propaganda I see whiz through on a daily basis because the dvd's were stiff and didn't run through the automated digital bar code scanners at all. We had to pull them all out of the machines and set em aside for the flat sorter to run em. They were a pain in the ass to deal with. Needless to say when my copy of it arrived at home I promptly stuck it in the shredder (which didn't take it to well) but it was refreshing none the less.

Anyway a portion large enough to be concerning (coming from a non-profit organization) in our distribution range received one which covers about 180 - 250 zip codes (I'll find out the exact number of zips tomorrow, a lot of them are small towns.) I know not everyone got one and it's hard to even guesstimate a percentage based on volume or even guesstimate the number of dvd's. In my home zip code alone there's 33k people and normally we only get about 60k piece's of mail for our zip per night. So over the course of three nights I'd say about 1,000 (or more) dvd's went to that one zip. Hard to say though because those things were passed around as much as possible because they were just a mess to deal with, just like the kerosene warning flyer's and the demopublican duopoly campaign flyer's.
