Keep your eyes peeled for US troops on our soil today.
Lets find out where they're at, where they're headed, etc.
Knowledge is power. Use this time to contact your reps to let them know you're against deploying troops on American soil.
UPDATE: Here's the 1st of the 3rd already in training. I guess they have a lot to get ready for...

I was Looking for this thread!! Helicopters like crazy around
near mt airy md. I have seen no less than 15 helicopters (all black military) in the past two days. Flying toward camp david, but no presidental helicopter so its not him.

It is unusual
I normally see one or two in the morning and one or two in the evening. The last 3 or 4 days there have been a pretty constant flow all day. I doubt there's really anything to it. It could be a reserve unit on at. I just have never seen this many in the course of a few days.
I keep seeing
a single apache flying over Houston along the I-10 corridor, usually heading east.
I've recently read reports (unconfirmed) of troops in NY state..
..and Washington state. Border states with Canada. Don't know the truth of them...

Nothing new here
I'm in Nebraska too.. like the two below me. However, this past year I have noticed uniformed National Guard members around town all the time. We have always had a national guard unit based out of here, my entire 29 years of being alive. Never before have I noticed them in their BDU's around town all the time. Granted if they are in town for their weekend of training, you will see that... but now it's every single day.
So obviously they are no longer the one weekend a month warrior... they appear to be going 24/7 now here.
And combine that with military recruiting materials at almost every single freakin store in town it seems.. can't get away from them.
edited to add: when I say nothing new here.. I mean nothing new as of this month... this military in uniform 24/7 thing has been going on already.

Maybe we're all just sensitive to them now... I know there has been no military activity in my area of NJ. I'm near a small airstrip and I KNOW you can easily tell the difference between military and commercial aircraft.

Driving to work east on rt2 mass, saw 3 big green helicopters in formation flying south across rt2 from direction of Hanscom AFB.
Then tonight Oct 7, driving home west on MA rt2, I saw two big 4 engine planes (C130?) flying about 1000 feet up and slow and saw 2 troops jumping with parachutes near Ft. Devens, I know it was military, they had round chutes. Then about 15 miles west, saw another 2 C130's following the other 2 in an easterly direction, just north of rt2, heading towards Ft. Devens.
Probably just training exercises, that I have never seen before in my eight years of commuting on that highway.

i used to live in mass
leominster mass. i thought they shut down ft devons. or maybe they were thinking of it. a friend of mine drove by there one time and swears he saw a ufo and was totally freaked out. i think he saw something, but i'm sure it was military and not a ufo. i remember there were alot of sightings back in the 60s thru the 80s in the lunenburg, leominster area. and i'm sure fort devons had alot to do with it. military exercises i would think.

Looks Like The 1st BCT [Brigade Combat Team] Made It To My Town
today . I saw 2 Humvees loaded and the guys in them looked "strack". Didn't look like the National Guard, you know like clowns fitted them. These guys looked hard and were in brown on brown cammies with light brown berets.....I've lived in this town for 30 years and seen national guard from time to time and these did not look like national guard..... Here we go.

Thats because..
Rangers only wear a very small scroll on their shoulders - with a subdued color - you wouldnt see it unless you were right up on them and had time to look at it. And if they were wearing brown berets, it had to be rangers.

I lived in that area for 30+ years and convoys are not irregular, and this was for sure something different than usual. This area is fairly close to Ft. Lewis and the direction they were headed there is a fire training area there I think.
He said there were unmarked Dodge intrepids with red and blue police lights on and flashing escorting the convoy which was the oddest part. very unusual.

I have yet to see ONE single article from that site with any verifiable evidence to anything but a subsidiary minor claim that was already plastered all over the MSM. I know it is not uncommon to transport militarty vehicles by convoy, even foreign vehicles. Timing makes it slightly more important, though.

Well, it looks like Oct 1st was disappointing for some catastrophic event of the military against the people. Darn!
Now, we can keep our fingers crossed for Oct 14 when the extraterrestrial aliens are scheduled to make a huge appearance.

it is October 7th for a financial event, and the 15th for a military one. But that doesn't mean I think they will happen 100%. Just that perhaps odds ARE a little more in favor of it than usual considering present circumstances. I'm preparing anyway.

Wouldn't it be cool to organize a national spy network to publicize our troop movements to the world wide web? In the old days, that was called treason. But these are new times, and it's hard to tell who is "us" and who is "them" so who knows what is what?
When I was in the USMC years ago, we were regularly warned not to give out basic information to strangers who asked us about it out in the civilian world. Supposedly, they can piece all the intelligence together to draw an accurate picture of the military's capability and intent. Loose lips sink ships, etc.
