kind of marketing/sales campaign will be undertaken by GWB and his handlers in order to sell this idea to those members of Congress who voted for the first ill-advised monstrosity. First it was a bailout for Wall Street and then, when that fell essentially flat, it morphed into a "temporary" one-time bailout for Main Street (who by now was paying its employees with borrowed money) and, as Bush put it, "your street".

No doubt, they'll eventually have to employ some kind of other "reasoning", perhaps having to do with blaming Congress for not lying down fast enough (and therefore making the problem bigger and more expensive), or maybe they'll just say that the next injection will be necessary in order to keep little children from starving to death. Perhaps when they get to the point of claiming that another dose of taxpayer-funded debt is needed to keep space aliens from eating our children, the remainder of Congress will catch on to the ruse?

after it was announced that it passed I heard a commentary on ABC saying that it wasn't enough and they would need more.Then on the evening news (CBS) they said that the downward spiral would continue for a long time coming.So why waste our time and money on this failed policy?

for my representative....John "Bilderberg" Boehner...the corrupt minority leader. John voted for the bailout despite thousands of e-mails, faxes, and phone calls. I have been on this man's ass for years and have voted against him at every opportunity...to no avail. I hate to use the word hate but I hate Boehner...I would not shed a tear if John found himself achieving room temperature sometime in the near future.

It has been a long depressing day...the giggling jackyl Pelosi and the odius Blarney Fwank appear to have everything under control so I am going to take some Psuedo-Fed and go to bed. I will join the fight tomorrow.
