It was a cold one in Boston! The wind chill put the temperature into the single digits, but we had a great turnout, with people coming and going all day. I'd say it was around 300 people total, with a max 150 of us together on the street in the early afternoon.
The Ron Paul Presidential campaign has gone from a towering inferno to white hot coals, focused on bringing this country back to its roots.

It almost makes me feel guilty.
We were blessed with an 80 degree day in Denver on Saturday, so I'm sad to hear that others (Boston) had to endure such cold temperatures. Nevertheless, it worked to our advantage, as many people were out and about on the downtown mall. I found that approaching people as an "educator" was a more successful tactic than a "protesting" one was. My opening line was "are you familiar with the Federal Reserve banking system and how it affects YOUR future?" By not being confrontational or threatening, people were more open to listening and to receiving information. One guy who "got it" pretty quickly after a 10 minute discussion, even stayed and starting handing out brochures.
We probably had 120-140 people show up for the demonstration, which is a pretty good turnout, I think. There were lots of great signs and posters which elicited plenty of "honks" and thumbs up from passing cars. A terrific day all in all!

In Boston, I had one very nice encounter
when the driver of an SUV who was stopped at a light rolled down his window to take our handouts as the lady next to him, I assume his wife, vented her rage at the bailout, the lies, the whole darned thing. With every pause in her litany of complaints, I offered more literature and in the end they took all that we had to offer. I know they'll read it and that pleases me no end.
But, damn, it was cold! Worth every shiver.

People who don't know what "End the Fed" means???
Well, they're driving by a group a people holding "End the Fed" signs in front of this huge building that says "Federal Reserve Bank" hummm, seems clear enough but I guess it's just me.

I agree that there were many beeps and waves of support, but saw one driver give us the finger (we did nothing to warrant that). Many big-rigs and large construction trucks tooted, too. I was there from around 10 until just after 3, when it was getting too dark to see the signs well. Good group of people there! Thanks, guys... and I'll see you on Dec. 14th, in honor of the Boston Tea Party! I've already bought my tickets! =)

Dallas ETF Rally
I think we had a terrific rally.
Thank you to everyone who came out, and for those who couldn't come but did what they could to reach people with the message.
Dallas Morning News came out, NBC, CBS and Univision as well!!!! We did get a little press, brief clips on two news stations and photos in the DMN. We had at least 200 at the peak.
Alex Jones came and he got lots of attention!
It was uneventful! DPD was very helpful and cooperative. We had contacted them to help us maintain an orderly rally. They blocked a lane for us and made sure we were safe and sound. They were pleased with our group and how we conducted ourselves. I hope we can continue the good reputation we earned today.
A few of us cleaned up afterwards, there wasn't much, but we even picked up the cigarette butts left on the sidewalk and grass.
Our detective contact said that usually they hear "oh yeah we're going to have a crowd of 200!" and maybe 25 show up. So when I told him at least 100 and maybe close to 200 and I was correct, he was impressed! We gained some credibility!
The next nationwide rally will tentatively be March 14th so mark your calendars!!! Steven Vincent of endthefed.us wants to see 5,000 at each location for that one!!!! I think we can do it!!!! Of course we'll have to get a real permit and block off the street for that size of crowd!!!
But, wouldn't that be terrific?!?!?!?!

Around 50 of us spent the day
in downtown Seattle waving our signs,passing out videos,
Republic Magazines and flyers.
Got lots of honks and thumbs up.It was cold and windy and we froze our butts off.One couple
came up to me and asked what the Federal Reserve was,had never heard of it.So I had to start from scratch with them!It
was a great day and we didn't
bother getting a permit.

END THE FED!
The End the Fed protest is just what our country needed! It was more than a protest. It was a meeting of ideas and people, it was was a protest against what our country has come to. Our huge US empire with military bases in 130 countries, hundreds of billions in overseas spending for the Iraq war and other conflicts, unconstitutional laws such as the patriot act, high taxes, and any anti-liberty cause! This just reinforced the strength of Ron Paul supporters and the revolution!

In my opinion, the Fed has no choice but closing the shops and reinvent themselves into something new anyway. So, I don't see a point of shouting "End the Fed." I think it's kind of silly.

I would say there were close to 200 people at the max. We made a good march from the Fed building down to eastern market, and back again. We got many good "end the fed" honks from cars driving by, and handed out a bit of literature. (Downtown Detroit is a tough place to get public exposure, but the response was good).
The problem was that the police insisted we keep walking and wouldn't let us stand still. The police yelled at people for crossing streets away from an intersection, and reportedly even ticketed a few people for jaywalking. The end result was that we felt good about our protest, but we were scattered enough (and cold enough) that it fizzled by 4:00pm.
We chanted "What do we want? END THE FED! When do we want it? NOW!" My sister and I carried homemade signs, and many people had professionally printed signs from endthefed.us. Our signs said "Tar and feather Bernanke and Paulson", "The fed is economic terrorism", "Inflation is a tax", and "Paper is not wealth." We gave a few of them away for people to carry.
A good exercise in protesting, but not as effective as real political action. I am surprised that many people WERE NOT EVEN CAMPAIGN FOR LIBERTY MEMBERS. What do they expect to accomplish by holding signs in the ghetto? Are the Fed board members watching? I don't think so. If this time next year we do the same protest, and those people are not active members of the Republican party, committee captains, and precinct leaders, I won't even protest with them.

Some people really don't
Some people really don't know what END THE FED means when they see the signs as they drive by. It really needs to be spelled out fully. Say END THE FEDERAL RESERVE, otherwise a significant number of laypeople won't know what the heck you are trying to say. Sure, us Ron Paul people know what end the fed means, but you've got to realize how many people in this country won't know what you mean when you simply say end the fed.

The people that did stop and take material asked us what the fed was.
We need to communicate the message more clearly to bystanders.

Just wanted it included in the front page post for those who missed it. We had great turnout and excellent HELP from the Chicago Police force with traffic control and keeping our group together while marching through Chicago.
Richmond, End the Fed
We had around 40 people covering almost 5 hours. I am so proud of these patriots for braving the cold. We were represented from every region in the state. There was an article in the Sunday paper, so I feel like we made some progress. The creature will be destroyed.
