MEN WHO DIED GIVING US THIS FREEDOM--What would they think of us today??
YOU MUST READ WHAT ADVICE ONE OF THIS NATIONS FOUNDERS HAD FOR US RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!
"If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no resource left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government . . . The citizens must rush tumultuously to arms..."
- Alexander Hamilton, Federalist #28.
---------------------------
"The opinion of the Federalist has always been considered as of great authority. It is a complete commentary on our Constitution; and is appealed to by all parties in the questions to which that instrument has given birth. Its intrinsic merit entitles it to this high rank; and the part two of its authors performed in framing the constitution, put it very much in their power to explain the views with which it was framed..."
- Chief Justice John Marshall, U.S. Supreme Court, Cohens v. Virginia (1821).
----------------------------------
"Also, the conditions and circumstances of the period require a finding that while the stated purpose of the right to arms was to secure a well-regulated militia, the right to self-defense was assumed by the Framers."
- Chief Justice John Marshall, U.S. Supreme Court. [As quoted in Nunn v. State, 1 Ga. 243, 251 (1846); State v. Dawson, 272 N.C. 535, 159 S.E.2d 1, 9 (1968).]
------------------------------------------
"The defense of one’s self, justly called the primary law of nature, is not, nor can it be abrogated by any regulation of municipal law. This principle of defense is not confined merely to the person; it extends to the liberty and the property of a man: it is not confined merely to his own person; it extends to the persons of all those, to whom he bears a peculiar relation -- of his wife, of his parent, of his child, of his master, of his servant: nay, it extends to the person of every one, who is in danger; perhaps, to the liberty of every one, whose liberty is unjustly and forcibly attacked. It becomes humanity as well as justice."
- James Wilson, 'Of the Natural Rights of Individuals', 1790-1792 (Signed the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution, Congressman, Delegate to the Constitutional Convention and U.S. Supreme Court Justice).
---------------------------------------
"From among the rights retained by our policy, we have selected those of self defense or bearing arms, of conscience, and of free inquiry, for two purposes; one, to shew the vast superiority of our policy, in being able to keep natural rights necessary for liberty and happiness, out of the hands of governments; the other, to shew that this ability is the effect of its principles, and beyond the reach of Mr. Adams’s system, or of any other, unable to reserve to the people, and to withhold from governments, a variety of rights."
- John Taylor, Revolutionary Soldier and U.S. Senator, (1792 – 94, 1803, 1822 – 24). [An Inquiry into the Principles and Policy of the Government of the United States: Section the Sixth; THE GOOD MORAL PRINCIPLES OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES, (1814).]
MY GOD... WHAT ELSE MORE DO YOU/WE NEED.. A lightening bolt from the heavens...to strike us ... the ghosts of the founders to wake us up at night .... WHAT MORE DO YOU/WE NEED???!!!

They themselves went through a "fiat money" depression...
Caused by the paper money created from "nothing" (other than a promise to repay in the future) by the Continental Congress and the various State Legislatures... Hence the phrase "not worth a Continental." (And their were other previous "paper money" experiments, which typically worked for a while, then got out of hand and ultimately failed).
In addition, they had also already experienced having soldiers quartered in their homes, pillaging their cities, etc.
But none of that stopped THEM from making similar errors themselves (Alien & Sedition Acts of the Adams administration, Washington suppressing the "whiskey rebellion" etc).
The founding fathers were most certainly NOT omniscient, nor were they perfect saints to be worshiped.
What they were, was men who had themselves made or experienced many of these disastrous policies and actions multiple times.
They tried their best to come up with a system (actually two systems, the first having failed within a little more than a decade -- and indeed multiple more systems if you count the various state constitutions, etc) -- and came up with a fairly good one... but with several significant "gaping holes" that were later used to drive massive changes through.
They'd say they were right
and this was bound to happen.
well think what you are saying.... OF COURSE !!!
IF THEY ARE NOT RIGHT ...then all Americans... are dead inside... and there is no Republic to defend ..since all Americans are dead inside----NOT!! WHILE YOU STAND THERE DETERMINING WHO IS RIGHT ...Why don't the few ..who don't want to bow down to slavery organize.... while we still can.. or should we wait to organize after they drag off the best of us into camps..... after they have murdered over a million people or more in some "nazi" horror future....
What would the founders have done?? nothing??? over 8000 people turned out for the original Boston Tea Party... to vandalize a ship.... how many of you/us would be so bold...
...and if you say "well those were different times..." so...what does that mean the Constitution is outdated as well??
second ammendment rights.... are not in question...
so now is the only time we have to establish our own militia... before it is too late...
I ask this question all the time
One of those men who died in Iraq was my cousin's son. It ripped my family apart. Many HAVE to believe he died a hero, or else they believe the option is to believe he lived in vain. I do not see it that way. He died a hero on a fool's mission. Now, if he really can see the truth from wherever he is, what does HE think?
I believe he is the force that has prevented me from walking away from the whole damn mess. I have tried over and over, but I cannot seem to fall back asleep or find the blue pill any more.
its a bitch...waking up... but eventually you get over the shock
of it .. and realize..."ok... I am awake,,, not what? " And then you fight...
not all at once not all in one day ... but you fight to make the nation(and with that the world) correct again... Our founders "gave us a Republic... if we can keep it...." as Benjamin Franklin said.
I think Patrick Henry summed it up
"Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?"
Truth is not respected, along with a disregard for honest wealth creation sums up the modern Americow.
Give me liberty or
give me death! Patrick Henry
