Remember several months ago when the house held a secret closed door meeting? It was only the 4th time in US history this happened. Now the contents of the meeting are being leaked.
This is what they told the congressmen.

1. Eminent collapse of US economy to occur in late 2008.
2. The eminent collapse of US government finances sometime in mid 2009.
3. Possibility of civil war inside the US as a result of the collapse.
4. The advance roundups of insurgent US citizen who are likely to move against the government.
5. The detention of those rounded up at the REX84 camps constructed throughout the US.
6. The possibility of retaliation against congress for the collapse.
7. The location of safe facilities for members of congress and their families to reside during this massive civil unrest.
8. The necessary and unavoidable merger of the US with Canada and Mexico.

I doubt it. And Dr. Paul didn't tell us about it, because why?
I assume they meant a session of Congress that was secret (and rare), not a secret meeting of some members (not so rare).

While I'm not saying these things could not, or are not now happening.... this sounds like the onion spoof video except now it has christian pictures and someone else doing the talking.

Family and friends? I'm being banished especially since things I told them were going to happen have. Got a lovely e-mail from my sister last night. Very hateful. Other one sends me a commercial with an Iraq veteran talking about how glad he was to be fighting for our freedom in Iraq and that is why he is voting for Mccain because he was war hero who fought for the country he loved. Then he walks away to the song "I'm proud to be an American" showing he only has one leg. I'm done with them. There is no hope. I ca'nt stand it anymore. I show them facts about how we got here and they tell me to watch faux news. Even though they thought the bail out was wrong (glimmer of hope) it suddenly became right when Mccain voted for it. They have told me I am a traitor and should find another country to live in :( I've been trying to tell them they are'nt living in the country they once thought they were and I am trying to be a patriot by fighting for the constitution.

more often than not, it is wise to just say your peace and let things play out. this can take years and i assume that some people (my own father probably) will likely never break their chains. they've been fed all this time after all, why start criticizing the masters now?
i know that to many involved with the CFL this is not what they want to hear - but as a student of history it is good to be BOTH idealistic AND prudent. its a zen thing.
if all the freedom fighters get taken out in the first wave, there will be no one left to fight. this is what they want. be vigiliant and smarter than them, folks. they do not want a guerrilla war, but that is what we need to consider.
hopefully many of us are starting to develop "codes" for identifying each other, if this all goes from bad to worse

Everyone has a different timetable for their light-bulb moment. My daughters get "angry" and think I am bursting their bubble, and one of those two said, "it's in the hands of God". Which I also believe, but the Lord helps those who help themselves.
We must work against tyranny and not just sit back and wait until it is too late.
I say to you, what others say to me,: "your did your duty as a fellow human being" and the rest is up to them.
We MUST, however, be ready to support them in all ways when the *crap* finally hits the fan.
And we will because we care and can forgive and move forward.
Everything happens for a reason. Ask ourselves, "what did I learn from this lesson" and take that knowledge and move on.

Here's my take on this.

If the dollar completely collapses, that would mean all the FRN's would be worthless. If the Gov. stops printing checks, I don't know how they are going to get anyone to man the FEMA camps. People won't work for nothing, so it doesn't matter what the President wants to do. It seems the representatives in congress and all of the federal agencies will cease to exist for lack of money. The military would have to be disbanded if there were no funds to run it. How far this will progress in anyone's guess. But it doesn't look good.
Soldiers will be paid in script..
..and fed three meals a day. When that starts looking good, watch out.

According to the leak, they don't expect that until mid 2009. By then the "troublemakers" will be long gone.

gun runners have had much more accessible in-roads to providing dissenting iraqis and afghanis with weapons. that happens when the PTB _want_ there to be a lot of resistance.
not many of us will have access to or knowledge about firearms, and willingness to use them is rather questionable from my POV

I remember Ron Paul mentioning something, perhaps on the AJ show, that the secret meeting wasn't anything spectacular and that is why he didn't attend it.
No Breach of Confidentiality for RP
I thought I remembered him stating that they required him to swear to secrecy as to what he hears and that he was not willing to do that.
That he was stating things already that may be said in the meeting. If he attended the meeting they could use his attendance as a method of silencing him by invoking the confidentiality of the meeting or that could use his post meeting statements as a means of removing him from congress on allegations of breaching confidentiality.

However, I doubt that Congress will be safe...the government will put them in camps as potential security leaks and troublemakers, based upon their current status within a declining government. "They eat their own." I think if I were running for a position within the government, I might rethink that action and withdraw. No way now anyone who "wins" will be a winner.
I doubt Canada will join in this party, but Mexico might....unless of course we use one of the only businesses we have left...the military.

Canadian citizens are riled up, as are U.S. citizens. Think back to last week when we let our congressmen know, in no uncertain terms, that we wanted them to vote NO on the Bailout! What did they do?? It certainly isn't about What the Informed Citizens Want!
