replying to a post on a forum topic...

whenever i reply to a post on a forum topic, my reply is NOT posted under the reply. it goes to the top and is the most recent post.
is anyone else having this problem?
i have to refer to what post i am replying to.

If you are not yet logged in and you click the
"login" to reply link, after you log in, the page defaults to a general comment on the topic.
If you want to reply to a reply, you need to click the link for the article at the top of the comment page (without making a comment) This will take you back to the article's comments. Click reply under THAT comment, and it will appear correctly.
(I forgot, it will also default to the main article if you click reply inside a comment and you are not yet logged in. In short, if you post a reply immediately after logging in via the reply link, it will default to the main article, rather than a nested comment)

I have noticed that happens to me only when I am not signed in
"lurking" and then sign in to post on a particular topic. It doesn't happen if I am signed in already or you sign in from the home page first and then re-open the topic and hit reply.
well.
I replied to a comment yesterday that lead me to different topic and I noticed it didn't make sense so I just cut my post and put something according to the thread.
But I couldn't find the thread anymore!!!!!!!!
