Amero timeline
"In the severe recession we are entering now, Bush will argue that we have to form a North American Union to compete with the Euro."
"Creating the amero," Chapman explained, "will be presented to the American public as the administration's solution for dollar recovery. In the process of creating the amero, the Bush administration just abandons the dollar.
Pictures of actual AMEROS are already all over the net...

Actually, it is more likely
That the Dollar will absorb the Peso, and the Canadian Dollar. The peso appears to be falling fairly significantly.
Imagine, Mexico and Canada start using the American Dollar, and then the link up the Fed with the Central banks of Mexico and Canada, and then they start acting together, welcome Amero. They won't call it that for a while, until everyone is used to the idea of the shared U.S. dollar. T
Hahaha the dollar is gaining
Hahaha the dollar is gaining strength that is a joke. The reason the dollar is up is because everyone else is inflating their currency right now.
Those pictures are of 'gift' items
They are made by a coin designer and 3D artist who IS NOT in favor of the NAU. They are 'fantasy' patterns. He hopes that by doing this, it will alert people to the real threat. So far, it is working.
Keep in mind. Those ARE NOT Ameros minted by the U.S. Government or intended for circulation. For starters, they are copper, silver and gold. I doubt seriously that if any ever are minted/printed, they would contain such metals in any quantity if at all.
What you need to watch out for is a closer parity in the dollar and the loonie. Then watch for a move to stabelize exchange rates between the two and the peso. When that happens, and they attempt to force the three currencies to run in tandem, that will be the defacto Amero. The actual paper currency/coin/digital blips will be shortly to follow. But the exchange rates must be paired and fixed first.
This is exaclty what they did with the Euro. And they aren't known for changing what works. It took longer in Europe, because they had more currencies to obliterate, and the exchange rates were tough to force to coincide. Some of them like Italy, just lost out on the final conversion to the Euro. The same may happen for Mexico if the dollar and the loonie can pair up. We also don't have language barriers like they did. English and Spanish are pretty much the major languages, and they are well integrated in all three countries. (French is really a small minority overall)
this is starting to smell like "Disinformation"
the markets are down, but the dollar is gaining strength! Who would want the amero now.
Besides what is all this "crisis", copmpanies go bust everyday! and So far NO ONE has been affected as far as i can tell
