Could it be possible or just a misprint?
The UN Agreement ends on Dec 31st 2008!
"President Adel Abdul Mahdi said his country set the end of 2008 as the date for US troop withdrawal from Iraq.
Abdul Mahdi clarified in a statement that the Iraqi leaders agreed with a visiting US delegation for exerting effort to put and end to the US troop presence in the country before the end of 2008, as part of the security agreement."

McCain & Obama simply want to move the troops from Iraq to Afghanistan, that's what they've both been talking about. I just hope that Pakistan isn't the next target...

Our contract ended after the war ended.
So what is going on now doesn't matter, it is just a staging point.
Nothing going on in Kuwait.

The'll just move them to afganistan
They won't let them come home.
It would be great to have something good
come of this mess. I would think we would need to bring the troops home. We ca'nt afford the war anymore. How awful would it be to have them there without the financing they would need to be able to do their jobs and stay healthy ect.... Bring em home !!!!!!! (and pray they are on the side of the people and the constitution if things get ugly here.)
The Iraqi Govt has been telling us to LEAVE for 2 + Years
The parlament passed a bill asking us to leave over 2 years ago and 70% of the people want us gone.
It is G.W. and McCain who refuse to leave.
