Quick question.....

So the economy is beyond repair, and the depression is imminent.
When the depression happens, and our economy collapses does our government/ treasury claim bankruptcy?!?!?
And if they do what happens to all its debt and the people's personal debt?
Will it be wiped out too?

since

the fed will be buying up private and state assets at bargain prices and then purposefully crash our currency, it will rescue us with a new new deal. north american union, amero and guess who will be selling us the "change"?

this is why we have to fight so hard.

I think the Amero hit a snag

Canada is bargaining to join the EU - trying to put distance between itself and our economy. http://www.international....

I look for a global currency, and I think it will be very, very soon.

agreed

but obama will still try to sell a centralized rescue.

FED

We can not "default" on our debt because we have a limitless balance sheet. There is almost no situation in which we as a government wont be able to pay our debts off.
The world is waking up to this fact and realizing that the debt they own is practically worthless, and they are scrambling to cover their losses. This is why we see the dollar moving up so strong. Banks and countries are in need of US dollar to cover loan losses that they made to us , in our currency. Once they have covered their losses we will see a sell off in the dollar and and rise in inflation as the new currency will finally begin to circulate with in our own markets instead of going to pay off loses on bad loans.

Its time has come

I suspect this is disinformation

Look at the response it got: Settled two dailypaul "dissendents" down for a nice nap. (I have faith they will remain wakeful in other areas, I won't call them sleeple, just napping.) As long as we hope the government is going to fix this for us, we are not taking action.
Every time things get heated, this rumor starts around again. PLEASE have HOPE for anything, but ACT as if there is no cavalry coming, no NESARA act that will suddenly make our government benevolent, no military leaders in high places about to arrest the tyrants, no sudden awakening of the masses, no sign from Dr. Paul that the time to rebel is at hand, and no Jesus coming to rapture you out of the mess.
Or, take a nice nap. There seems to be a lot of that going around.

Lets

have a party.

Wow

I'll sleep good tonight.

two extreme possiblities

First, let me say we are in speculation mode here. I am a firm believer in knowing if we are dealing in the known, unknown or unknowable, and the future is always unknown till we get there. That said, I will speculate freely now!
It looks to me like the Chinese will own us. They will have the authority to evict us, and they will have no reason to cut deals, we are not their citizens. If our government collapses the dollar, and we stop paying our bills, here is what I expect: Nice, lilly white, American born people will go to work for new Chinese tyrants because those will be the jobs that are available. They will then go to their neighbors house and kick them out on behalf of the Chinese. No one will even notice it is the CHinese banks that are doing the evictions, because they will keep the paperwork from their American front companies and hire Americans. It is that "service economy" they have been promising us - people from China will come "serve us" eviction notices.

Or, by some miracle, the people actually stand up and says "No, this entire thing was fraud on a massive scale" and Bush, Cheney, Pelosi, Paulsen and Bernanke all get arrested. and America declares bankruptcy and clears the debts. And WWIII breaks out because we can't shirk our responsibilities and expect there to be no repercussions.

So, I expect to be evicted before this is through (our budget can't keep up with the increasing gas and food prices.) The scenario that ends in WWIII starts with everyone standing up, and I do not see that happening. I guess I will be hanging out with the Democrats at the tent city. It seems everyone here is rolling in gold and silver and can't imagine any reason why a person would have financial problems that are not simply due to their poor moral character.

Yeah, paul4won, it is hard to stay

upbeat, we are out of work and money, cuz the gas prices ate into our savings while we did have work. We just paid off our land, but we owe more on our vehicle, etc. which is only way to work.We will probably lose that this month. We too have hardly any silver, gold. Lots of people have financial problems that are not due to poor moral character. We have debt too, from emergency medical reasons.. It is scary. Knowing we need to prepare, and having no money to do it. I do know what you are going through, as we have been going thru it for a long time. I get scared sometimes because my taxes are due soon, and with no work, or money to pay them, we could lose our home, anyway. We need to really not get discouraged, and have hope that this whole scheme that has destroyed the economy will go down, and we will make it through. (I am saying this for my sake, too). Know that the people here and I do care.

I think that

EVERYONE is going to get a first hand education on what financial hardship is even those with gold and silver. I think survival will be those that can work and look out for one another.

It will always be paid, one way or another.

If the US don´t repay it´s loans, the dollar will be worth nothing, hence the people will pay it.
If you don´t pay your loans, someone else has to pay it.

so......

what incentives are there for someone to pay off here debt at time like this?
I mean I know it is the responsible thing to do if you want a good credit score and all, but what good is that if the markets will collapse and so will our "debt" leasers.

well, the bailots make ppl not pay their losses or debts

which means the taxpayers or your neighbours will have to pay for them instead. The end results is, it will get paid all the same, just by someone else. The same if the country goes bancrupt, the dollar tanks, and the people pay by higher taxes or lower purchasing power, no matter how you twist it, the people will pay some way. Those bailed out stand to gain though. Peter schiff gave a nice interview on this on lew rockwell the other day.
