URGENT! Fellow Liberty Lovers- District 7 needs your help! Steve Miller for Congress.

Illinois District 7 in in Chicago, IL. As you can imagine we're a pretty heavy democratic strong-hold.
Our current representative is Danny Davis, a democrat who voted for the Bailout Bill BOTH times.
Now we are doing our best to get him out of office.
Luckily, one of our own has decided to run for Congress and challenge Mr. Davis. His name is Steve Miller.
Don't think a victory here is totally impossible. I don't think Mr. Davis takes us very seriously, but that may turn out to be a good thing for us. The more people we talk to (especially Obama supporters) find that they agree more with our candidate than with Mr. Davis.
Still, the Republican party at all levels (local, state and national) has chosen to ignore us as a futile effort and because of our "Ron Paul" Republicanism.
We are doing our best, and even though this is a small district, Chicago is a big city. We only have 4 people currently phone banking- however, we've had significant success with volunteering/meeting people face to face.
If you happen to live in District 7/Chicago please consider helping volunteer.
Otherwise, we could desperately use donations. Whatever you can spare, even $5 would be immensely appreciated. We don't expect to raise a huge campaign fund.... in fact we're budgeting for only $12-20,000 total.
Please send whatever donation you can possibly spare to this small campaign. We may not win, but with your help, I'm sure we can help educate a lot of new people!

We care, but many of us have congressmen to support in our own states, or are supporting third party candidates, blah blah. Hold a fundraiser in your city. Put an ad that says "If you are as MAD AS WE ARE about the bailout and government regulations in our lives"..blah blah come here to meet our next FOR the People Congressman. Put up a few signs and have him speak..pass the plate..good luck in your endeavors..

I'm from District 11, home of Rep. Jerry Weller (R). Remember, he was the only congressman who couldn't make it to the initial House bailout vote. .... embarassing... Oh but he did show up for the second round...Only to vote for it! I understand he is retiring now. I was just complaining the other day about how I know of no 3rd party or "Ron Paul Republicans" to support in Illinois! I fear whoever replaces Weller will be just more of the same...
Unfortunately, I'm moving to the Tampa area literally tomorrow. So I wont be able to drive up to the city for any door to door weekends. My favorite! I'm tight on cash (arent we all) but I'm gonna make my way over to your site and give what I can. BJ's got me in the giving mood today. We gotta support these local efforts to the best of our ability!
