SAVE THE REPUBLIC; DRAFT RON PAUL

Friends, I sent this letter below to Ron Paul tonight. Please join with me in this call to Dr. Paul to rejoin the campaign by bumping this post continually and by flooding his office with calls for him to announce a write in candidacy.

Dr. Paul,

I understand why you feel that it is best for you to remain a Republican. Staying in the party allows you to retain your seat in the house banking committee so you can keep up the fight, as you did this past week, to try to stop outrageous legislation like the bailout bill. You did an amazing job rallying the troops for that fight and your action this week further justifies the firm and unassailable fact that only you can save this country from total economic collapse. However, there is a way for you to remain a Republican and yet rejoin the campaign for President…mount a write-in campaign.
Every major news program has had you on the air this past week to ask you what should be done to solve this present financial crisis that we face. Most of them concede to the fact that of all the presidential candidates it was only you that sounded the alarm to warn of the unstable financial markets. Go on the air with all of them again and announce that you will accept the office of the president if the American People draft you. The people are desperate for better answers than they are getting from the two front running socialists. Our liberty, freedom, and free markets hang in the balance and of all the candidates only you can save them…only you can save us.
The country that our founders and many since have sacrificed so much to preserve through recent times is about to die. Please heed this call, not from me, but from the very founders themselves. George Washington lost most of the battles he engaged in with the British, but he fought on till providence delivered victory to his men and to the country. Washington had to risk tenable positions for the mere chance of ultimate victory. Similarly, this fight today is bigger than the house banking committee. This fight is for the very survival of the greatest republic that has ever been. We cannot, we must not let her die on our watch. You are the only patriot uniquely positioned to step in at this late hour and try to save her.
I can almost guarantee that if you went on all the shows tomorrow and announced your write in candidacy the money bombs from the past would sound like two pennies in the offering plate compared to the donations that would pour in to your web site. You could use that money to buy airtime before and after the next debates. You could pay for video crews to wallpaper the internet with your message. But most importantly you could make a fight for us and for liberty. Once more into the breach I call you Dr. Paul, once more…FOR LIBERTY!
