In general, if you see an odd increase in activity at these places, you are witnessing people taking out money for a reason!
Odd Occurance
I just made a withdraw to place in my vault. My associate was actually able to take out $500 two times from seperate ATM's. Yes, $500 each time. DO I NEED TO REPEAT THAT!!!! $500. I now have $1000 in my safe for her.

Not hoarding anything... Got a Box Lot sale happening next week at my local MILITARY EXCHANGE.... Never happened before in my memory. They are going to bring COMMISSARY goods for sale.. My PX on my Camp, does not have a COMMISSARY... But thats all normal for them to do this eyyy?

There will be two box lot sales
near us, one at Fairchild AFB and the other us at the Army National Guard Armory in Lewiston, Idaho. Seems like I vaguely remember a box lot sale (maybe more than one) many years ago (like maybe 20 - 25), but I can't remember whether it was on Guam, in Germany, or in the CONUS. It also seems like I remember that it was a really lame sale.
As a Branch Manager of a bank...
I will be taking a 3 day weekend. The furthest thing from my mind will be my branch's ATM. By the way, we only load $20s in our ATM. I've got better things to do than to park outside my branch and watch our ATM. Thanks for the advice though.

Everything sold is in the qty of the boxes they use to ship them in. Example, Toasted Oat cereal my be shipped in a box with 8 store individual boxes. The shipping box is how it is sold at the Box Lot sale.

Silent Bank Runs
Remember that most of the "bank runs" thus far have been silent .... money taken out of certain banks with the click of a mouse, or a phone call arranging for it to be transferred. Different from the lines during the 30th. So a certain bank can be going under with a run, and many folks aren't aware of it because there is no visabile sign until suddently "poof". I guess it's different when people are actually going for the FRNs "in hand".

got $7 or even $1 (and paid $3 for it). I remember in college there was a $5 atm and it was perfect for a college student. A $1 machine is perfect for poor people. I live in very wealthy area.
