Former presidential candiate, Congressman Ron Paul warned the nation of the impending economic crash from the onset of his campaign in 2007. Sadly, the one candidate who truly understood economics was dubbed not Republican enough because he opposed the war. There's still time to listen to him now.

I posted my comment around 3:45. I stated that Dr. Ron Paul has been warning of this crisis for years. He is the only person that understands the cause of the problem and how to fix it.
They might post it later, but they also might be picking selected posts.
saying basically nobody could have avoided the problem because it's inherent in the system but Ron would have put us on the right track. Not exactly what I said but was something like that. Was over a couple hrs ago, but they've not put it up.
and I posted over two hours ago, going directly to cnbc.com rather than using the RP link. I pointed out that among the many presidential candidates in both major parties, only Ron Paul started warning last year of a bursting bubble...and that I just ordered a t-shirt that says Don't Blame Me, I Voted for Ron Paul.
Guess they didn't like it, or maybe someone there doesn't like Ron Paul, or maybe they just decided to leave politicians out of it; I don't think any were mentioned in the final on air summary of comments that I saw.
People in London are protesting at the Bank of England right now because of their government bailout being passed! Faux News has been covering the story!
Economist who have been paying attention saw this comming decades ago. Ron Paul has tried to get the Fed (the true villian) shut down for decades as well. No media gave him any format until it was too late. Now Jim Rogers is telling people that we need to stop wallpapering over the problem and let the bad actors go bankrupt like they should. But again, no one will let the truth prevail. Pundats just want government/s to make it all better with bailouts and fiat currency. Hyperinflation is going to be the net result of this childish behaviour.
Oh yes, we should have been listening to Bernake and Paulson. Of course. I mean, in the letter I received from my Congressman justifying his vote against the bailout, he said,
"Many of you have expressed opposition to the financial rescue package and are disappointed that I voted for this legislation. However, as your Representative in Congress I always strive to do what is right and best for Americans, even if it is unpopular.”
See, even my "representative" who is supposed to "represent" me, instead does whatever he thinks is best for Americans, and puts the advice of Bernake and Paulson over the views of his constituents who he is supposed to "represent."
Yeah right! As if the sheeple haven't been listening to them! Well, I think in times like these, we need to open our arms to people who've gotten a bad first impression of us and those who are/were undecided as to which road to follow. The system knows that if all of us unite, there's going to be so much outrage like never before. BTW, check my latest thread on a worldwide march on the same day and advise I'm willing to take to lead my Chilean friends to the right side.
I've been watching CNBC anyway, and earlier one announcer mentioned several votes for Ron Paul. So I went to the CNBC site directly (not through DP), entered my comment and saw lots of other support for Ron Paul. Then more recently, back on TV, they showed and read from several emails -- none mentioning Ron Paul. Raw deal IMO!
The smart people listened to what Ron Paul was telling them, instead of snickering behind his back or in the case of Rudy Guliani to this mans face. Those who make fun of this man are now licking their wounds after losing millions of dollars. Ron Paul predicted this mess because he studied economics and knew our house of cards would be falling fast.Could someone with a brain please come forward, put those who are responsible for this mess in jail(prison) and instill a real policy of sound money instead of the gamble of credit default swaps.Enough with the stupid already.
I didn't know the corporations are susposed to be are leaders. I guess they are even more important then the elected officials because they are listed first. I guess this confirms that we are FASCIST!!!
I also didn't know that this crisis could have been avoided if only they had addressed the public properly. Maybe they should have kept this secret a little longer.
You should and should have been listening to Ron Paul. He is one of the few good politicians who speaks to the truth. Check it out. None of the current financial crisis comes as a surprise to Ron Paul supporters.

Would better leadership
Would better leadership among corporations and politicans during this financial crisis have staved off global market meltdowns?
How do I tell them WHO with a question like that?
