As you all know, the intarweb is a wretched hive of scum and villainy and not everything you hear can be trusted.

But whether it's fake or not it makes me laugh.

Just from news clips and such a short history we can pidgeon hole this person.. And some intellectual source (?) can do this so readily. I'm sold.

Let me just say as a psychologist who knows a "wee" something about IQ testing, that the allegation that she tested at 83, which is in the low, "Low Normal" range is manifestly false on the basis of just her accomplishments politically. Even if she had tested at this low level in high school, which she didn't (the link presented has been shown to involve a faked record), people often test low because they are unmotivated to perform. I once tested a child who, according to his teachers had never scored higher that about 80 or so. He was very slow in doing his school work and also stared out the window. However, he decided to show me how smart he was. He tested at over 150 that day, which is in the genius range.

Also, an IQ test only measures a limited array of convergent thinking abilities that must converge to a right answer. It says nothing about other creative and problem-solving abilities. Palin's problem is not that she cannot learn understand and learn quickly. She is just miserably narrow in her way of construing the world which eliminates the possibility of considering views that don't fit her beliefs. This is not the type of person that we want as the leader of the American Republic, but nor we want a manipulable, ambitious person with very questionable socialistic connections in the oval office either

Before nominated for VP was a very respected individual who does not have half the dirt her mail counter parts have on them. Just real curious what the point of this thread is. SAT scores are you kidding me ? From what country and by what alias would we request Obamas from ???

Are they sure her I.Q. was 83 ? I was thinking more like 38.... maybe just a transcription error. Well, if it is 83, that makes her about twice as smart as G.W. Bush, so she'll fit in fine.
