It is all such a scam. Then of course we have the great 401k scam. Oh yeah, dump more money in that, lower your tax liability. Retire and use it and great you get to pay more taxes and your living on a fixed income at the time. We need to not only get rid of the fed we need to get rid of the IRS while we are at it. That could really stimulate the economy.

As much as I despise the IRS, we don't really need to get rid of them... we just need to hold them accountable to the Rule of Law and educate our fellow Citizens regarding the income tax; the fact is- it does NOT apply to the vast majority of Americans and I would bet dollars to donuts it does not apply to you either Chinkadaro. It is simply an excise tax based upon a federal taxable activity.
