This morning, I was forced to pay the minimum on my credit cards because I was paying down my credit cards too aggressively. Out of this personal chaos, an excellent idea bounced around in my head. If we can't get our congressmen to listen to us when we say NO to more national socialism, why not try to send a message to the banksters themselves. Only "We the People" can scuttle the government bailouts of weak companies over strong companies by paying only the mandatory minimums on our credit cards. Granted, the banksters may ask for more bailouts, but at least they would really know who is in charge, AND who can ultimately bankrupt them.

The way to weaken them is not to pay the minimum, but to pay the things off and cut them up. They love for you to remain in debt to them and only pay the minimum since all you are really paying is the interest payments, not the principle. The vast majority of Americans only pay the minimum amount due on their credit cards and will remain debt-slaves...get out of debt, stop paying them for your own imprisonment.

You want to teach them a REAL lesson?
Get everyone in the country to STOP paying anything on their credit cards. Stop borrowing money at all and stick it to the bankers where it really hurts.
Your credit rating isn't going to mean a whole lot pretty soon anyway.
