Daily Paul is the best place to get news...

Ron Paul supporters actually post news before it happens. I think it was like three to six months ago on here, that people were posting about a second coming of the Great Depression, and the U.S. Army enforcing martial law on our own soil. Now it appears both of those events are coming to pass.
I think if you see someone post something on the Daily Paul that sounds a little, odd, strange, or extreme, you are probably right to put some stock in what the post says. For sure don't dismiss it without looking into it first. I mean, Ron Paul has been predicting this economic collapse for years, and Paul supporters are the only ones who appear to have had any clue this was going to happen. I have never seen people as intelligent, informed, aware, and conscientious as the people who post on the Daily Paul.
Although the posts are oftentimes shocking, depressing, amazing, appalling, offensive, speculative, questionable, or "conspiracy-oriented" they most often turn out to be true. I think it is good to read the posts because so far virtually every interpretation of past and present events that I have read has been proven accurate. Likewise, virtually every damn prediction that I have read on this site comes to pass. Yes, it is a little frightening, but what the hell? Seems like Daily Paul users are the only people who have any clue what the hell is going on in the world anymore.
Beats the hell out of mass media news. The information here is actually true, informative, relevant, substantive, and unedited. Nevermind, the fact that it preserves your rights, helps you protect your money, and can actually save your life. God, I am so glad I know about Ron Paul, and am able to communicate with people who know what the hell is going on. It is pretty scary in the general public with the average person seemingly walking around like a NWO automaton, eager to cast their votes for Obomba, and dying to crawl further into the fascist, socialist hole America has now become.
Sorry for the rant, just have to give thanks and appreciation and pay tribute to the misfit band of intellectuals that contribute here. The general public appears to give Paul supporters much less appreciation, notice, and recognition than they deserve. Not to mention the fact that they way underestimate us.

I haven't chimed in much lately, but I have to say that I have often found an abundance of vital news and wise counsel among my peers on this site. Time and again, my brief visits here have linked me with much more valuable info than hours of so-called "conservative talk" radios' inane ramblings, the mass distortions served to us in the MSM drivel, and an internet zoo full of neo-con and liberal blogs that are caged within their old paradigms.
Thanks, RP 2008, for pointing out the obvious: that we have good reason to appreciate the community of like-minded patriots we have found on this site, among whom Ron Paul is honored, not as some kind of cult hero, but as an excellent role-model in speaking up and standing up for the truth!
Thank you, Michael Nystrom, for devoting so many hours to building and maintaining this gathering place, and to the sponsors who have helped fund it.

Gave up on the MSM
After I saw with my own eyes, what the MSM did to the great Doctor, I quit TV, Radio, Drudge, WND, and even Google news.
The only relevant news is found either here, RP Forums, or Campaign For Liberty.
The song 'The Pusher' (Steppenwolf) could also apply to the MSM, just substitute 'The Pusher', with 'MSM'...

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, by becoming fully involved in restoring a Constitutional republic to our land.
10. Continued to take personal responsibility for the restoration of liberty, and when we started to slack off, promptly reminded ourselves of the reasons for the fight.
11. Sought through education and activism to improve our conscious support and furtherance of liberty as we understood it, seeking knowledge of the Constitution and the power to carry it out.
12. Having had a Constitutional awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

My boyfriend posts on here all the time. I don't post a lot but everyday I'm on here learning things. I have to admit there are times EVERYTHING just scares me to death, But what can you do? We try to wake people up but some times it's like beating your head against the wall! We have prepared ourselves and come what may. We would be lost without this site. From the silly to the serious. 12 Step Recovery Program For Daily Paul Addicts
1. I will have a cup of coffee in the morning and talk to my family like I used to, before Daily Paul.
2. I will eat breakfast with a knife and fork and not with one hand typing.
3. I will get dressed before noon.
4. I will make an attempt to clean the house, wash clothes, and plan dinner before even thinking of Daily Paul.
5. I will sit down and write a letter to those unfortunate few friends and family that are Ron Paul-deprived.
6. I will call someone on the phone who I cannot contact on Daily Paul.
7. I will read a book... if I still remember how.
8. I will listen to those around me about their needs and stop telling them to turn the TV down so I can hear the u-tube video's on Daily Paul.
9. I will not be tempted during TV commercials to check for post's and forums.
10. I will try and get out of the house at least once a week, if it is necessary or not.

make sense. The financial issues are things RP talks about. The space alien, mayan crap, martial law, etc, etc, are silliness and are a waste of space. I can not recommend this site to anyone due to the far out there crap. I have gotten to the point, that I try to ignore most posts except for those written by a certain few I have come to "trust".
