NaturalNews | The bailout opposed by so many Americans was nevertheless negotiated by the Federal Reserve with the help of Congress and the Administration. The final bill for the hotly debated rescue of the rich is over 1 trillion dollars including the ear marks and special interests sops that were included. But this is small change compared to the money that is being pumped into the monetary system by the Federal Reserve without any debate or consent. New money is being printed at record rates, insuring that the currency you have in your pocket will buy less and less everyday. As more people wake up to the threat to American's future posed by the Federal Reserve, interest is being renewed in the Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act (HR2755).
This legislation introduced by Congressman Ron Paul in June, 2007 would kill the Federal Reserve Act and would then phase out the Federal Reserve altogether one year after the bill becomes law. Although legislators have yet to bring Paul's bill to the floor, mounting interest in the bill in the face of recent Fed actions suggests it will be revived from its current state of languish in the House Committee on Financial Services.
Although people are just beginning to hear about this proposed legislation in the main stream media, the internet and alternative press reveal the depth of public support for this initiative. Even Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin has placed abolishing the Fed as one of the top planks in his platform that calls for a return to fiscal responsibility for the U.S.

I've checked it out and have been investigating it. It's a small local bank in south Florida. It is regulated by Florida regulators but clearly not a member of the federal reserve. Even FDIC says it's FDIC insured but a "non federal reserve member".

On October 8, the newsletter included...
...a link to an article entitled, "Is the Federal Reserve Engaged in Acts of Economic Warfare Against America?"
It is nothing new for people following either the historical and economic history related to our concerns, but I was glad to see it on a site and newsletter that reached a lot of people. Having been on his list for sometime, this was the first time I had seen something so clearly anti-fed, so I would imagine that it was the first time for many of his readers too. That's cool.
He also links to a good video on fiat currency, the fractional reserve system, etc. that most of you are probably familiar with, but here it is in case you haven't seen it.

One of the better resources
I have almost always been pleased with his newsletter and Web site. There have been times in the past when he has misreported something and not corrected it, which was annoying, but I realize they get a ton of emails.
We have completely different worldviews which means we don't see eye to eye on some things, but when it comes to health and wellness information, you could do much worse. As always, use discernment, but keep an eye on his site.

Didn't work, but partly did work .....
The phone, email, fax bombs in the end didn't change the outcome of the bailout bill .... but at the same time they opened some eyes. At least they KNEW they were being watched, and that there WERE a lot of folks who were aware of what was going on. It did change their vote for a little while. As long as we're vocal, they can't count on our apathy! Now if only we could follow it up and vote the scoundrels out ... that's the best way to incline our congresspeople to listen to their constituents. So ... even if another fax, email, phone bomb wouldn't change the End the Fed bill outcome, at least "they" would know that more and more people are learning how things really are working, and eyes are being opened to the corruptness that stinks up Washington. And that there are some people who care and are willing to do something for their COUNTRY. I think they just count on not very many people caring enough to act!
How 'bout we pick a day when Congress is back in session.
and do a fax bomb, email bomb, phone call bomb day...simply requesting that our Congressmen support HR2755 and END THE FED. This bill needs to be brought to the floor. We need to get as many people involved that were involved in the bailout opposition.

lame-o, Am I now... kidding. What, dont you feel defeated from time to time? Organize the phone/fax/letter bomb, do it. "I" dont expect it to work, so "I" wont put any hope in it(I might even call half-heartedly and say "support HR 2755" *click). Know this, I live in a district and state where ALL of the officials I can vote for voted YES to the bailout(I'm voting against all of them), so that doesnt give me much hope. Maybe where you live your representative is RP, Kaptur, etc so you have hope, but I dont. This approach wont work for me.
I offered a suggestion for which we all HAVE power over and the people in the know, already know about this strategy. What do you think happens when someone gets off on a federal tax case? You wont hear about it because then the idea would catch on, you'll only hear about the guy that got convicted for it to keep you scared.

And you know, do the fax, email, phone bomb. I just wouldnt expect anything to come of it. They have demonstrated that they DONT listen to the people. The Senate is bought and payed for, the House is mostly bought and rest that vote against us have no cojones. They have the majority share of votes in the House. Face facts, we are on our own and we have a limited number of options available to us. Electoral votes has its limits when those elected then dont serve the people. Our jury votes can defend our fellows from the government. Even if your too scared to stop paying federal taxes, remember, in a trial you decide the fate of someone that is standing up to the illegitimate government by refusing to engage with it. Their fate is your fate.
They want to bring us to our knees, so lets bring them to theirs. Cut their money spicket off.
Why not do it all?
Just because the bailout passed does not mean the calls and faxes didn't have an effect. There were people who voted against it. If anything, stopping all phone calls and faxing now would just convince them that the people have no staying power.
No, go ahead and pursue all avenues of action you feel comfortable with, but don't think that just because the bailout bill passed that phoning and faxing is "insane." That definition is overused, usually out of context and leaves no room for principled persistence.
Also, while the bill may have passed, I personally know of a number of people who became involved or interested in this whole thing because of all the uproar by the people. Friends and family who generally just go with the flow (read: sheep) were sitting up and paying some attention. They were starting to ask some questions and hearing some things for the first time. Some of my friends and family who have, up until lately, been either uninterested in politics or just gone with "their" party on everything without question, are changing. These changes have been a direct result of the Ron Paul R3volution in general and small, patriotic actions they have witnessed in particular.
None of this is for naught.
