Today, common Americans - your relatives, friends, neighbors, and co-workers,- are forming Committees of Safety in the several States in order to tackle the gravest threats to their liberties, prosperity, and even survival as a self-governing people that have confronted this country in generations. They need your help. Now, while there is still time.
The Committees are focusing on the things that will provide “Security of a free State”
1.“Security of our money” - No one can deny the present fiat monetary system (the Federal Reserve System) is unsound and unsustainable as well as unConstitutional. We have solutions to this problem that will inject sound, stable Constitutional money into our State’s economy.
2.“Security from natural and man-made disasters” - Everyone agrees with disgust the way the Department of Homeland Security (using Blackwater, Army and National Guard troops) and FEMA handle a disaster (such as hurricane Katrina) This “top down” approach is a disaster in itself. The solution,We the People, in our communities, best understand our local conditions and needs. We will need preparedness training to help support our first responders (our local police, fire and E.M.S.)
3.“ Security of our vote count”- Most Americans are aware now of the massive vote fraud taking place in our country today. According to the New York Times and L.A Times articles, as well as a HBO documentary “Hacking democracy” these optical scan and touch screen machine can be remotely hacked into and the vote totals altered. The solution, hand counted, paper ballots, counted in public view. Then publicly display the results at the polling place as well as the internet. Anything less than this transparency is a sham. Without an honest, transparent vote count, we can’t “vote the bums out”.
These three security issues can and should be dealt with at the local community and State level, not the federal level.

An exchange between then senator Fred Thompson and militiaman James Johnson on June 15, 1995, during a hearing held by the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Terrorism, Technology & Government Information.
This occurred in 1946, 62 years ago the public in Tennessee took arms and went after the corruption. This ended with no deaths and changed the county there after. Is anyone here familiar with this story?
In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.

todays militias for a statement they would all say about the same as he did. Maybe some would give a more blistering statement because things have deteriorated since 1995.
I would disagree that Mr. Johnson is a good speaker, adequate perhaps but not good. He said a lot, but he didn't clarify many of his statements. He didn't point out what he meant by some of the legislation coming out of Washington causing a revolution 200 years ago. He didn't say it was Unconstitutional, tyrannical and oppressive.
Look at it from the point of your typical brain dead politician who doesn't have a clue what's going on and listen to what this man says with that in mind.
"Revolution", "We're the calm ones...", "animosity between citizens and government", "frightening", "dead redcoats out there", "increasing polarization", "armed conflict", "most heavily armed forces on earth", "blow somebody away", "growing number of citizens".
I don't know about you, but I think a typical politician will hear that, urinate in his pants, run around shouting "insurgents!" and "domestic terrorists!" and then, ladies and gentlemen, it's lights out because when know-nothing politicians get frightened of the people, the peoples' heads start rolling.
All Johnson's testimony seems to being doing in this short clip, is to be giving these idiots in Washington all the ammo they need to ratchet up the police state.
Has he been audited and had his property taken? Been declared insane? Individuals that make sense like this don't stick around long. I hope he is still going strong though.
Thank you Dr. Paul for making my act on what I already knew was right.
though he left the militia movement in the mid 90's, because he felt is was "ineffective." Currently resides out west I believe in Nevada. He is married to Dr. Nancy Lord Johnson, who was the Libertarian Party VP Candidate in 1992. She's also a lawyer and was on Board of Directors of NORML and National Informed Jury Association. J.J. had an online publication called the "Sierra Times" up until 2003. He also ran for Sheriff, but lost, some time back. Do some googling, you'll find some interesting articles.
Boy, did he say a mouthful in 4 minutes!! He is, in my opinion, a very good speaker. He chooses his words carefully and explains himself clearly. I like what he says...they only thing I could fault is that our Rulers know we're comming for them.

As for me and my home, we will be buying ammo!
I would like to see more of this. Our elections are rigged. Our representatives obviously do not represent us and OUR issues. The government is corrupt both at state and federal levels. They have become our masters. The federal reserve along with their surrogates in congress have just completed a COUP on the American people that is now becoming global. It is HIGH time for the people to take back THEIR government and restore it to our constitution. More people are now educated enough to know what is going on and when the black suit, jack booted thugs come to kill us they will be met with resistance not like when the Freemen of Montana were murdered by our government. IT IS BETTER TO DIE FOR SOMETHING THAN TO LIVE FOR NOTHING.
However I'm not so happy that they are testifying in front of Congress. And Phil Donahue? Shoot I don't think you can find any more smug skepticism than that weener.
The gubment has everything going for it - piles of money, technology, a trumped up set of laws, sheeple, greasy politicians, NSA, Homeland Security, etc., etc. Why hand them the plans for their overthrow on a platter? Why warn them of the intent? Let 'em work for it, I say. Heck, they don't believe these people anyway - and certainly aren't giving any credence to their moral/philosophical justification. Screw 'em, why waste your breath?
If this was 1995 the feds will surely have done something clandestine by now to identify and neutralize such militias.
A lack of preparedness exists throughout America primarily because no State maintains a fully constitutional Militia, capable of performing the constitutional duties “to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions”. This is an intolerable state of affairs.
The Second Amendment to the Constitution describes “[a] well regulated Militia” as “necessary to the security of a free State” - the Militia being the only institution that the Constitution describes as “necessary” for any purpose. Every American who considers himself a constitutionalist and a patriot- indeed, every American who simply desires to live in peace in “a free State”- must in good conscience and personal self-interest support this fundamental legal principle in both word and deeds. And every public official who is “bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution” labors under an unavoidable constitutional duty to take whatever action are within his authority to ensure that “[a] well regulated Militia” are maintained in each and every one of the several States.
Nonetheless, Congress and the States’ legislatures have done next to nothing up to now to satisfy the constitutional requirement --”the security of a free State”- be based upon “the Militia of the several States”, decentralized throughout the country in fifty States and thousand of counties, in the persons of tens of millions of citizens. Instead politicians in Washington,D.C., have created this “Department of Homeland Security” apparatus based on a top-down bureaucratic structure, top-heavy with professional para-militarized police forces, that not only have no resemblance to a constitutional Militia, but also directly threatens the survival of “the security of a free State” throughout the United States.
I watched the Phil Donahue vid some weeks back. I was astonished by the continuing ignorance of that audience...how easily they were led by Phil...how little thinking they had managed over time to understand where we are. Did they miss Waco? Ruby Ridge? Too many unconstitutional insults to list here..and they are still ...still...asleep.
I felt great relief when I learned that there are at least 10 and 1/2 million men under arms as militia in this nation. Thank God.
Imagine what this government would have done to us without the militias and our guns looming over them? They've gotten away with mass murder already--an act of war against the people they have sworn to protect and serve.
9/11 is the only day the laws of physics were broken (btw, three times in one day), and the only day in the history of the world that a high-rise steel structured building collapsed (into itself, lol) due to fire.
My Lord, if Americans are this dumb our country has no hope whatsoever....
Please invest the time to read it. The increasing formation of militias is one of the warning signs. The growing Hispanic separatist movement in the Southwest and the southern border immigration problem is another major part of it.
Whether you like it or not, ethnic identity is a factor in many of the worldwide civil conflicts. We are not just facing a Civil War like 1861 where after the conflict all was forgiven; we are facing conflict where groups try to exterminate one another over territory and who is in power, where no prisoners are taken.
There are several lines of thinking that lead me to conclude that before mid century, perhaps as early as the next decade, civil conflict will break out.
One is the cyclical pattern in western civilization that gives us a major nation threatening crisis resolved by conflict every 90 years or so, as explained in "The Fourth Turning". American Revolution (1776), Civil War (1861), WWII (1939), and now Civil War II, circa 2020.
Another is the growth of the size of government and all the laws that over the years have favored the few at the expense of the many, resulting in a skewing of the distribution of wealth. This could go on without resulting in civil conflict if the economic pie continued to grow, but that is not likely as a result, first of the current economic crisis, and secondly as the result of increasing cost of energy that will prevent further economic expansion, and in fact result in long term economic contraction. The pain of going along with a rigged economic system will soon become greater than the pain from rebellion.
Another is the increasingly fractured ethnic makeup of the USA as explained in the book I recommended you read above. So many of the things discussed about the breakup of the USA are right out there in the news everyday.
It would have been nice to see Ron Paul lead us in a manner that might have mitigated the current depression and the impending Civil War, but the American public is apparently not willing to change course, and the external forces are probably greater than even Dr. Paul could have overcome. Too many people are like monkeys caught by a baited coconut trap, where they stick their hand in a little hole to get the bait, but when they close their hand to hold their prize, their closed fist cannot get out of the small hole. The don't let go till the native hunter comes up and smashes them over the head with a club.
That's what the media and the government, and groups like the Southern Poverty Law(less) Center and the Anti-Defecation League all tell us.
And here, the leader of one of biggest militias in one of the most populous states is a black man.
Ha! Take that, ADL and the rest!
