*Breaking News Nader To Debate Barr And Baldwin*

The official presidential and vice-presidential debates were reserved for the Democrats and Republicans.
But the other candidates are finding ways to have debates of their own.
Thursday in Cleveland, Libertarian Bob Barr and independent Ralph Nader are set to face off over the topic "The Economy: Where do we Go from Here?"
Then, Sunday in Las Vegas, three vice presidential nominees are to debate: Libertarian Wayne Allyn Root, the Constitution Party's Darrell Castle, and independent Matt Gonzalez.

During his debate with Nader, Baldwin talked about Reagen's "600 ship Navy" and how it had shrunk to less than 300. He then promised to get us "back to the Reagan era". Huh? We DON'T NEED a 600 ship Navy if we're minding our own business and bring our troops home. Further, Baldwin's answer on health care was pathetic. Had his incompetant campaign returned my emails, I could have presented him with a Constitutional, free market plan that would revolutionize the health care industry and save hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars annually.

WASHINGTON -- After an embarrassing series of fits and starts, the major third-party candidates will debate Thursday in Cleveland.
The debate, sponsored by the City Club of Cleveland, will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. EDT.
Independent Ralph Nader and Libertarian Party candidate Bob Barr are confirmed to attend, and Constitution Party nominee Chuck Baldwin also may participate.
An earlier debate, scheduled for Oct. 19 at Columbia University in New York, was canceled after none of the third-party candidates, including Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney, would agree to participate.
There was a last-minute debate between Nader and Baldwin in Washington on Oct. 21, but the inclusion of Barr in Cleveland makes the event noteworthy.
Nader and Barr are on the ballot in 45 states, and the Constitution Party is on 37 state ballots.
C-SPAN will tape the event, and it can be seen live at www.votenader.org/live.
There also will be a debate by the third-party vice presidential candidates Sunday in Las Vegas.

One of the main reasons I supported Bob Barr for about two weeks before the no show act was his mustache which I also sported...not any more...as the saying goes don't trust men with mustache.

Nader is coming to my school
When is the debate going to take place? I think earlier in the day because hes coming to The University of Toledo tomarow at 8. and it takes about 3 hours to get to toldeo.

The third party candidates face off on the economy at 4:30 p.m., with doors (850 Euclid Ave.) opening at 4. Admission is free, but the hall can only accommodate the first 250 people.
If you cannot get in, you can watch on C-SPAN or listen on WCPN 90.3.

is fair play. Besides which, I don't particularly think Bob can be accused of excessive patriotism.
I'd love for Bob's great display of "leadership" in this election to be the one semi-major candidate who never actually managed to have a debate with anyone, or to even to appear on stage with any other candidates.
