If he Rate #1 in Congress

Then let us urge what left of the GOP Representatives in the House to nominate and vote for Ron Paul for Minority Leader in the House

sadly

the will of the people and the will of congress are two entirely different things.

Maria Cantwell....

~7% less than Paul on that cnet page. She's a Dem, but the more I look at her lately, the more I respect her

Why did I think Congress had 435 members?

_____
Action is what defines men

A Congressman is either a member of the House of Representatives

which has 435 members, or a member of the Senate with its 100 members. Therefore, Congress has a total of 535 members. If you read the Constitution instead of listening to others who don't know what they're talking about, then you won't be the same know nothing no-it-all like some Congressmen have been and some continue to be. A Representative from my district was making the same distinction that you had done. His statement was always, "the Congress and the Senate". Sheesh, what an idiot. He was replaced by a once suspected illegal immigrant. Ha, what a country.

Good for you for finally questioning the issue and seeking the correct answer. Such behavior shall lead to great rewards.

Who am I, you ask? Well, Ike was the first President that I remember.

lol

..on second thought, not so funny, but sad.

I wasn't sure how to take that, so I answered with a question.

After posting a link to Reason Mag, I figured you were just here to cause trouble.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

sempiternal you cant accuse people based on assumptions

If you have doubts then ask. but dont accuse & attack untill you have probable cause.
Linking to reason isnt probable cause. If that was the case you will have to attack everyone who links to Fox & CNN
thanks
_____

I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

Anyone I call out is somebody with 20-inch neon letters over their head that blink, saying "T-R-O-L-L....H-E-R-E", alternating, perhaps, with "Eat at Joe's--Happy Hour 2 for 1 Cocktails".

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

If

If that's true, they're also blocking the one about John McCain. I'm assuming they're taking out anything politics related from that field.

McCain's has a 1012, and should be there as well.

Of course, maybe it was blind error that left out Paul and a tasteful decision to leave off McCain.

:o)

I'm happy we had one win today for Paul, it was a battle!

I'm happy about my vote for Baldwin too and I feel good about it. I'm so glad I didn't blindly vote for evil. I voted for the right person.

But, what's probably most important, is that I've learned more in the last six months about politics and our government than I have in my entire life.

It's the journey, not the destination.

Let the bad be heard - comments only reflect upon the poster. Plus negative comments help bury a Digg (I'm prettty sure now).

Some of them are buried kind of deep, are negative and could use a few diggs (just hold your nose)

I have posted here before

I have posted here before about going back and forth with one of my liberal friends about RP, monetary policy, etc., and he has NEVER said word one in a positive light about Dr. Paul. I sent him the link to this article, and here was his reply:

Me:

"Well this certainly explains all the Google and Microsoft donations"

Him:

"Those donations are from employees, not the companies.
i think there's a libertarian bent among some employees of those companies, that's all."

Me:

"It's sometimes hard to tell companies apart from their employees, many of whom are shareholders, but a lot of people who value privacy and are against internet censorship definitely donated to him."

Him:

"i am sure there's some truth to what you're saying, but i am also sure there are a lot of other reasons some of those folks like Paul, for example drug policy (lots of stoners at Google).

Most of those donations are in the couple-few hundred dollar range, none more than 2300 (at that end i am sure there are some shareholders).

i think employees of those companies also donated a lot to the other candidates, if i remember correctly.

but employee donations aside, i personally respect Paul's advocacy for privacy."

Now that's what I call progress.
