Bob Kerry STILL supports the Patriot Act!

Unreal. The media was touting Kerry as our savior in 2004, and now 4 years later he says it would be a mistake to repeal the Patriot Act. If there is any evidence still needed to prove that the two parties are one and the same, this is it.

Ohh yeah!!!

When this vid was first posted,I had to call my wife to the monitor...(we both campaigned activly for the good Dr.)We were both amaized at how GREAT
"President Paul" is looking these days.
I hope he remains strong and feisty for many, many, many years to come.

It's All A Blur

Did anyone else notice that they blurred out his book sitting on the shelf? Sneaky Sneaky!

I actually disagree with him

I actually disagree with him on this one party across the board fear. I actually don't mind it for the very reason he does. I actually think the debate and necessary gridlock has been going on for the past whatever years. It's pretty darn evident what should be done at least on some obvious fundamental issues. Maybe not the fed, but Iraq and other things. Let's have a situation where something can at least get done. And if it doesn't. If the congress doesn't end the war in Iraq, then that is only more ammo for people to disconnect with the two party line. If the next four years don't result in at least some fundamental improvements, then the jig is completely up.

My Hero

Wow talk about somebody that looks Presidential Dr. Paul looked great on CNN American Morning. He is wearing a nice looking suit and his hair is sharp, he has gained a little weight 10 lbs maybe I can see it in his face he looks healthy and sounds amped and engaged ... what an asskicker!!!

I totally agree and I was thinking the same thing -

he looked wonderful.

Mr President

You are with me and I'm with you til the end of times!

It's always this same group of guys, with Israeli, NWO, or Illuminati icons (I don't know if they do that just to try to be offensive or if they really are):

However, this strategy seems to work;

No matter who comments on the Digg, just have everyone vote all the comments to positive, even the bad comments. This fools the Digg engine into thinking that everyone likes the Digg. When you vote comments negative it actually helps bury the Digg.

So always make it a habbit of voting all comments up, no matter what they say and tell everyone else to do the same. You get the added benefit of them proving how foolish they are with their own comments.

Diggs

Digg censoring,

they totally removed the sidebar.

Digg is a "mob rule"

The Obamamaniacs have taken over. Some even get paid to digg down stories!! The site is not what it used to be.

and it's back

:-)

A tip of the hat to McCain!

Think what you want about McSame, but at least he's not Barack Obama!! I announced that I'd early-voted for McCain the other day on here and everyone called me a traitor. Yet, Dr. Paul admits that there is a good argument to vote for McCain and that's to stop an Obama hegemony.

So, go for the feel-good "vote", if you will. Vote for Barry Goldwater, Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin or Jesus Christ. All good "warm-fuzzy" votes, but worthless as far as a vote against Obama and the democrats.

A vote for McCain is not an endorsement! If you really want your vote to count, vote against the candidate that you feel will do the most damage with a vote for the lesser of the 2 evils. Like alka seltzer, it will not be a satisfying swallow, but it's going to do the most good when the day is done.

Ask yourself this: How many Nader voters from 2000 wish they could go back and vote for Gore??

(P.S. I've been on this site a long time, so don't think I'm some newbie.)

McCain Himself killed that

McCain Himself killed that argument. he promises to reach across the aisle. i believe him. I will not vote for him.

That's not what Ron Paul said, you fell into the media trap:

He said;

"I think that's one of the strongest arguments for voting for McCain."

But, that alone is not a good argument for voting for a candidate.

A good argument for voting for a candidate is someone that will honor the oath of office and defend the Constitution, something that McCain has proven he will not do.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

Difference between supporting/endorsing and voting

I think there's a big difference between promoting the message of a candidate, supporting them with banners and cash and voting for them. I really thought that Chuck Baldwin was the best of the bunch in the race. (Ron Paul dropped out of the race and asked folks not to write him in. Not all Paul followers followed that request--we got some "mavericks" here!) ;-)

Our choice today is about Barack Obama and John McCain. That's reality. Any other choice is pie-in-the-sky. How do you know that Dr. Paul didn't vote for McCain as a vote against Obama?

I guess it just boils down to whether you think your vote should be based on a rational choice or a philosophical choice. Would it have been rational to root for the Mets in the last World Series if you were a big Mets fan? If you feel it would be a betrayal to your team to vote for McCain (or Obama), then I will defend your right to a feel-good vote. Otherwise, you should vote for the viable candidate who will do the least damage.

I feel pretty good right

I feel pretty good right now! I'm free from the bondage of fear. I know in my heart, after digesting massive amounts of information in my brain, from various internet sources including this one; there's absolutely no difference between McCain and Obama, only the appearance of a difference.

It's great to know the brain damaged caused by my TV set can be arrested and actually reversed...so yes, I feel real good right now ..thank you

Your vote is based on the

Your vote is based on the assumption that Obama will win. The fact is that you couldn't possibly know that. So if McCain wins, all you have done is cast a vote for more illegal wars (more murder), more government intrusion into our daily lives, and more subverting of the constitution. You will be partly to blame. As an American you are responsible for your vote and only your vote, and you were blatantly irresponsible with your vote. You cast a vote for everything that we stand against. What are you doing here? I don't care if you've been here a long time, quit trying to spread your lies on this site.

By the way, Ron Paul said he was voting for Chuck Baldwin. If you've been here a while you would know that. And to suggest that he actually voted for McCain is to call his integrity into doubt. If that is what you are getting at, then again, what are you doing here?

Even Fox News is pretty sure Obama will win

If I felt I could afford the luxury of a 3rd party vote, I would have gladly done so. As I stated in another posting, do you think maybe some Nader voters from 2000 regret not voting for Gore?? Think about it.

You're framing your response to me as if I condone war and murder. This is fallacious reasoning. I am making a real choice as opposed to voting "present". I am not omniscient. I have no certainty that McCain will be a better president than Obama. But, with what I have to go on, it looks like he could be.

A vote for 3rd party in this particular race is a purely feel-good vote. There are such things as sins of omission. So, failing to vote for a viable candidate could be considered such an act. Ron Paul is honest enough to admit that a McCain win would be preferable to an Obama win!!

I am here because I've found the majority of the people here are not sheeple. They have a better grasp of reality and I have learned a lot from listening to Ron Paul. I'm not trying to to be a troll. I am simply offering an alternate opinion for consideration.

Obama and McCain ARE the

Obama and McCain ARE the same! Do you understand that. They are both statists. McCain leans fascist, and Obama socialist. Whatever! McCain has neocons leaning around him, and Obama will have a neocon chief of staff. A vote for McCain was piss in the wind, and a vote for Obama a heaping turd.

$$$$We need to build political strength and political will.

And you must be some omniscent God who knows

which one will do less harm? I voted third party because there was no other choice for me. I seriously can't distinguish which one will be more harmful.

Your an example of a last

Your an example of a last patriot.Once the majority is tired of the two party system, you'll jump on.
This movement has to start with someone and grow. One million now, then two, four, seven and so on as an example. But if a lot of people thought your way then theirs no growth,no hope to break the two party system,or maybe that's what you want.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!” —Samuel Adams

THE FEDERAL RESERVE - Americas OVERLORD

It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.
— Samuel Adams

Thank you, JeffD.

For some reasonable, intellectual truth. The Lesser of 2 Evils fool above was seriously giving me a headache from all the waffling he was doing.

Note to fool: We do not vote 3rd party because we "can afford it". We genuinely BELIEVE McCain and Obama are equally horrible choices. We actually value the principles and truths we hold dear. We do so because we abhor the fallacies and insanity of the so-called 2 party system, and anyone who still believes in it. (which you clearly do)

It's the Matrix, dummy. There is no spoon.

That's one snazzy shirt/tie combo!

He's the best.

I didn't even notice the shirt.

I had to go back and watch it twice. I did notice that he was looking bright-eyed and well today. I never thought it could be the shirt...something to think about when I start teaching.
