My man Mark Mulligan

Who ran for Florida's 2nd U.S. Congressional seat - took 38.1% of the vote - and that was with raising and spending 10k - in comparison with the incumbents ONE MILLION DOLLARS. I'd say we did pretty darn good with what we had, and we will take the lessons we've learned in our defeat and run a smarter campaign next time around - Word on the street is that the incumbent wants a statewide position here in Florida in 2 years and wont be running again - and you can bet we will!

Abe Lincoln lost 8 elections that I know of before he became President Lincoln - these Liberty Loving Congressional Candidates should not give up - and neither should we!

Congrats to Michael Delavar and all the other RP candidates

I was with Michael, Katja and the rest of the team Tuesday evening when the results were rolled out. Not what we had been hoping for, but respectable considering the obstacles. I'm *very* proud of the race they ran. Many stories from it may be told, in the days and years to come; they boil down to the fact that we really *DO* need change, back to liberty and away from this cesspool of corruption and cowardice.

accidental actual results

The California 4th Congressional District race between Tom McClintock and Charlie Brown is a classic example of what happens when a good guy is not taken seriously enough to rigged the results against him ... you get the accidental actual results.

It looks like McClintock won

I don't know anything about him, but I'm glad to hear we picked up a seat. That's huge. We've almost doubled the size of the Ron Paul Congress :)

BJ is one of the best of us

I want to add my congratulations to BJ. I'm very disappointed he didn't win, but he did an outstanding job. I did a little research and I think getting 37% of the vote in that district is very impressive. During the times I heard him speak, he did an excellent job representing Ron Paul Republicans. I don't think we can hope for more thoughtful and better spoken candidates.

More important than winning is education the public. If we all stick with it, eventually we'll win over heards and minds. He may not have taken the seat, but he and his team laid a foundation for the future.

Republicans are starting to do some soul searching, and now is our time to shine.

It was Great

to vote for Ron Paul and Tom McClintock. Five friend and family votes here in Ca. To the other Ron Paul's running across the country stay up and keep it moving till '10!

I was at Bob Conley's Victory Party

in Columbia, SC

I GOT DRUNK

It sucked

Lindsey Graham had $5,000,000

and Bob Conley had $50,000

MONEY WON!

Does anyone know how

Does anyone know how Pelosi's race in CA ended?

Yeah

Last I read Pelosi had something like 79% of votes and Sheehan got 17%. I can't believe Pelosi got 79% when her approval rating in congress is 30%. Americans are so freaking stupid.

smell something fishy here

Sorry but it is not the machines

It's not the machines. We need to face reality and those candidates that lost really did lose. But BJ did some huge damage in his district, especially given the hard time Republicans in general had this year. We will do better in two and four years.

All the Ron Paul candidates

All the Ron Paul candidates got DESTROYED!

Did anyone fair well...at all?

Easy there

Look at the states they are competing for. The majority of voters look at the (D) and the (R). This is going to be a long and winding road. This message hasn't been actively been spread in decades. It going to take time to win over a public educated populace

did anyone see

Did anyone of you notice how some of the percentages that they showed last night were well over one hundred percent? I noticed one between Conley and graham that had Conley with 42% and lindsey with 65%. Before that Conley had 52% lindsey had 48%. After that Conley was well below fifteen percent the rest of the night. And he "ended" the election with less of a percent than oboma. I wonder if we can find out how many people voted straight democratic ticket and if it was more than allegedly voted for conley then I wonder if we have a case?

just in

With 100% of precincts reporting Tom McClintock has won the California 4th Congressional District by less than 500 votes over Charlie Brown, this is HUGE!!!

The blockhead never could get a fair shake.

2 more than zero!

California 4th Congressional District

With 99% of precincts reporting Tom McClintock is leading Charlie Brown by 500 votes! This is a very huge race as Tom would be a big supporter of Dr. Paul on the House floor, hopefully there won't be any skullduggery in the counting.

CNN is worthless. Look at

CNN is worthless. Look at the results for Pelosi's house seat.
CNN shows Pelosi 72%, Walsh 9%. Guess the other 19% didn't exist huh. The truth is it was Sheehan with 19%. Didn't even have the courage to put the Independent above the Democrat. What a disgrace.

Shocking, how could Pelosi

Shocking, how could Pelosi beat Sheehan? I mean, I'm not sure about that district, but if they were liberal enough to put Pelosi in there in the first place and Pelosi screwed the liberals, how could Sheehan lose???

Does that district use electronic voting???

This whole fucking dog and

This whole fucking dog and pony show is staged and rigged.

The would be masters have spoken and we get more of their shit.

i'm speechless

there were two races i was watching... pelosi gone sheehan in and not my man mitch (gov) GONE and andrew horning IN. i guess i wasn't positive enough??

wow. i thought those were obvious. huh. i'm shocked

i gotta do laundry

Well, when your daddy was a politician and your daddy's daddy was a politician, strings always get pulled for power.

I honestly can't see people being that braindead to vote her in with that high of a percentage. I would love to hear what those in the district had to say about it...

I got a letter thanking me for my interest in "NO" on the Bailout of Wallstreet. And he went into great detail that the taxpayers should never bailout the free market system.

well, he sent out a letter asking for people to donate to his campaign....

Conley will be BACK!

2010 will be a Conley year! We are going to discuss a bit of a change in strategy. Bob's campaign ran on fumes and was hastily put together in little time. We are going to conentrate on our best district (he got well over 600,000 votes) and then in 2010 get a US Congress seat. We had a great turn-out on barely ANY money on a campaign! Things are LOOKING GREAT! I see the Founders smiling at us all!

I hate to think voter fraud, but....

I live in SC and I do not know of anyone who said they were voting for Lindsey, bail out the banks, Graham! How was this not even that close???

It all looks very suspicious.

IT DOES

Look suspicious!

BJ Lawson

I am a volunteer for BJ lawson here in the NC 4th and we fought hard against impossible odds. This area is one of the most liberal in the state, additionally this is a bad year to be republican. Our opponent recieved 2x as much money as us with the majority of it coming from big business. The newspapers and media were very biased and most supported david price. So yea the odds were stacked against us. The bottome line is the straight ticket dem vote killed us.
We put up a good fight. We had over 200 volunteers out working the polls tonight. We had a variety of people helping, Ron paul supporters, campaign for liberty guys, meet up groups, even some democrats!! Some guys came all the way from hawaii and cali to help out! Non of us are giving up and are looking forward to 2010. Bj will stay active in the community educating and spreading the message. We have a great infrastructure and very passionate network built up. Our numbers will grow and we will do better next time!

Thumbs Up, BJ!

You are a TRUE PATRIOT! I am a former UNC student and I know how liberal that area is. Try to shake the labels and the divisionary terms. Just stick with "The Constitution is our Law. Freedom and Liberty are why we ever existed!" BJ, you will triumph in the conventional sense if you perservere! You triumphed SO MUCH already! Those votes you earned are votes from hearts & minds that will never vote otherwise! That is the true strength of this revolution! We do not waiver! Our resolve is strong!

"Those votes you earned are

"Those votes you earned are votes from hearts & minds that will never vote otherwise!"

I couldn't think of more fitting words. Although it saddens me a bit to know that BJ won't make it this time, I am already looking forward to 2010 and beyond. We love you BJ!!!

you did your best. We don't hold that against you.... what you accomplished is truly impressive. I hope you all keep at it and try again in 2 years!

you know

i would say this is why these a**holes weren't worried about what you or i thought... they knew they had it bagged

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master... George Washington

Whoa!!! Just a second there!

Are some of you implying that the electronic voting equipment has been compromised?

Now now that just plain is NOT possible.

We all know that the vote counts are handled fairly by the people who have been hired to get the results the people in charge want.

I voted and my vote went into a machine. Then my vote went to a voting reporting control point that carefully managed the results to assure that the American people would be led by the leaders that the people in charge of the voting control point THINK should be leading Americans.

This is how it should be because there are wealthy people who are a lot smarter than I am who need to get important stuff done without my interference.

Thank God these really smart people are also smart enough fool me into t thinking that my vote is counted...phew! I was going to worry about our form of government? But, since I have been fooled into thinking I have a say I don't need to be worried.

Go Obama! Change! Change us into a socialist state...yay!

Whens' the next election so I can climb all over these a$$holes anyway?

i live in MN and voted for

i live in MN and voted for baldwin and barkley and so did a lot of people i know.

Yeah

I did too.

MN SUCKS!!!

I thought there would be alot more brave people in this state!! I voted for Baldwin and Barkley and so did many others here that I know and we are going to get stuck with Franken :-(
I noticed also as someone mentioned earlier that it seems that so many RP candidates are not doing well. If they think we can't take back what is ours because of they election they are wrong! I will fight no matter who wins!

Does anybody know...

What our average vote percentages have been for RP politicians? The info has GOT to be somewhere.

Dan Kaiser

My candidate for SD, who I campaigned for A LOT, got last place in our district with 17%.

Democrats took almost everything in the State and Local. He was the best candidate by far, and the people here - the sheep - voted for socialists. I'm disgusted.

I got 8%

In my county comissioner race, I came in third behind the republican and a democrat that didn't even want to be on the ballott. Isn't the two party system great?

Thank you Dr. Paul for making my act on what I already knew was right.

Congrats!

That's 8% more than you would have gotten had you not run :-)

It's true, the two party system sucks. It is the worst thing to ever happen to pervert our governmental system.

Nope

there is still Tom McClintock in CA, where the polls will only close now and in a traditionally strong GOP district. Hope he wins. He also supports the gold-standard and is very conservative AND libertarian.
