Will Obama “Change” The Bush Police State Or Expand It?
Will liberals go back to sleep now the “messiah” has arrived?

Now that Barack Obama has become the 44th President of the United States we offer a challenge - will those who elected him be able to progress past their fawning idolatry and actually pressure Obama to deliver on his mandate of “change,” or will the architecture of the Bush police state remain in place while the American empire expands?
Obama’s acceptance speech assertion that “change has come to America” is likely to signal the beginning and end of the “change” that millions of Americans naively thought they were voting for.
That’s it folks, the puppet has been rotated. Sorry to be so cynical, but the “change” you thought you were electing is already over and done with. The color of his skin matters about as much as whether he has an R or a D next to his name. The egregious spending will continue, government will balloon in size, American soldiers will be used as cannon fodder for more interventionist wars of the military-industrial complex, U.S. citizens will continue to have their phone calls tapped and their rights curtailed, and the Federal Reserve will continue to rule the financial system with an iron fist while the middle class is squeezed out of existence.
How can Obama claim that “change has come to America” when he hasn’t even set foot in the White House? What specifically has Obama promised to change beside his plan to redecorate the White House?
It seems that a lot of the truthers and activists, as well as the liberal left, seem to have forgotten that the responsibility to “change” America rests with the American people. As Gandhi said, we have to be the change we want to see in the world.
Obama is no messiah, he is a representative, a public servant, for those that elected him into office. Will those that voted for him in the name of changing eight years of Bush administration malfeasance hold his feet to the fire and demand the repeal of the American police state that Bush has crafted, or will they simply go back to sleep and consider their work done simply because another Democrat is in office?

Don't get too worked up, everyone. Rest assured, there is really nothing left in the nation's coffers to use for the programs Pres. Obama pushed during the election. We're a bankrupt nation, and it will be a long, long time before we are solvent again.

The scheme to fool the real American people is solid and well funded. It has been for decades. I do not believe we can overcome unless the funding for the destruction of America is cut off. We should (in my humble opinion) be focusing on the federal reserve and doing what we can to bring it down and I believe with the snakes head cut off, the rest of the snake will die. Dr. paul has made the demise of the fed a mantra that we should all take up.

Not that this holds any meaning but I noticed this as I am a graphic designer.
But have you noticed that in Obamas logo the "O" is blue and the land is red. I take this as the democratic leader watching over a communist land. Am I the only one whos noticed this?
Also, the campaign graphics are freaking awesome, (even though I disagree completely with the message) as one has to have good graphics to fool the world. But my sister in law, who is from South Africa, noticed that his graphics look a lot like the graphics she saw for the communist leaders in her ex country.
Thought that was interesting. Again not that it means anything.
BTW I loved Ron Pauls graphics in his campaign and for the revolution. They speak volumes about his message. Love it.

We will live by the supreme law of the land that he will swear an oath to and this time we will be READY and watching every move they make and make them stick to it. Even the smallest stray from it we must raise holy hell! I plan to write him. We all should. And remind him of that oath and request it be read aloud before his swearing in as a reminder/lesson to the American people of the role of the president and the government and there roles as citizens and patriots of the USA.

Come on, Lucy. Look how far we've come in a year or two.
We've had a fantastic growth rate so far, going from a conventional wisdom of "freedom and honesty don't work in politics" (and ONE GUY in congress, with no press coverage, as a counter-example) to a double-digit percentage in the primaries (despite active suppression in the media), record-breaking fundraising, massive numbers of members from a new generation just hitting the politically-active age (which is a very big deal), recruits from all across the age/culture/race/political spectrum, and a new/recreated faction in the Republican party with freedom as the ideology and goal, already running candidates that are shaking the system despite opposition from BOTH major parties' machines. We'ret a percentage of the population as great as the one that drove the original revolution.
"They" have been at it for centuries. (I mean, think how long and hard they had to work to get the Ku Klux Klan party to nominate and elect a black guy as president. B-) )
Even if the election WERE a setback it would be time to become "winter soldiers". But in fact we've got a lot of momentum going, while the Republican party is weakened and hunting for a new direction - EXACTLY the opportunity we needed.

Gone now are the endless sound bites (bytes) and endless digital streaming that comes with a RepubliCrat election. Gone are the balloons and yard signs that filled the landscape. Still here is the empire, the Fed, our troops in foreign countries providing cheap security for those making Billions off the sweat of the American worker and the blood of our precious troops in harms way.
Like so many others I am just waking up to the battle cry. I was not aware the battle was going on but here we are…in a wrestling match with the Titians. We must not; we cannot give up for the future of our children and grandchildren’s sake.
Let us not weary of the fight for that we have taken for granted. This fight has just begun anew! What our Fathers of old passed on to us is for us to hold. This is not a baton for the professional politico to manage for us.

I to am new to this fight, not that I supported the two parties. I was just not informed. I do admit that if I would have known who to turn to earlier that I may have been able to sway a few more votes our way.. But as you said we have just begun to fight and I am ready and informed .

Those who can..Run for office..even the most basic..Dog Catcher?? Got to start somewhere.
Apply for Government Jobs..Civil Service...or working in a place that builds things for them...(Homeland Security is about to have 300+ openings here...if you can live on 8.00-10.00 an hour) It allows you to get on the inside even on a basic level
Do you have a local college that you can rent a class room from and teach people? Teach them the Constitution...or how to file an income tax form without paying taxes.
Offer to speak at high schools on Government...The Constitution.
During any parade on any holiday..build and enter a float...(Ron Paul standing tall with the constitution in his hands..hammering down the Fed.)
We should have 1 day a year as our own holiday..(Ron Paul Day anyone?) where people gather at their state capitols for a day of protest demanding answers...(I do think this holiday should come on like the last Friday on a month...giving people time to get there and have a night of rest if they stay over.....kind of like Thanksgiving and Easter have no set date)
When you go out to eat..please leave your server more than just a couple of bucks for a tip...leave them a flyer showing that income tax is illegal..and the web address to find out just why it is.
If you get junk mail with a paid return envalope..drop a flyer in there too.
Do you blog on other 'fun' sites? Add a line at the bottom of what you talk about..(End the Fed...Save The Constitution...and so on..add a link)
If there are jobs and decent cheap housing in your area..post it so others near by might be able to move over and gain employment...Who knows...you might get quite a few joining you...2 can spread the message in an area faster than 1 can.
Anyway..thats whats going on in my head...

I'm a black Ron Paul supporter who voted for Chuck Baldwin yesterday. I feel saddened by the hysteria among my people over such a puppet as Obama. I'm only hoping I have enough time to become financially independent and move out of the city before he starts using the police state implements that Bush has established. It may seem cynical, but I almost look forward to everyone's disappointment come January when he shows his true colors (no pun intended).
Furthermore, I find myself incredibly frustrated at the ignorance of voters who believe that voting third party is a waste. It just illustrates how defeated the American people are in what they think of their own vote (i.e., that it carries no real weight). The American people are, unfortunately, quite pathetic; I find myself honored to be in the company of fellow RP supporters, who I find are vastly more advanced and aware of our situation.

Don't expect it to be abrupt. The Democratic politicians are expert at easing into things, avoiding a "Schelling point" where the frog would realize it's time to hop out of the warming pot. And the big O is clearly well trained in their system.
By the way: That's why the do so badly in wars - "proportional response". They avoid a Schelling Point where the leaders of the other side could surrender without loss of face and political power, while the battle escalates beyond all reason.
Frog slow-boiling is very effective for holding and deepening control. But it's horrible for ending an existing dispute with somebody you don't already rule.

I've never seen another election where so many people were chasing after so many other people to push them to vote. There seemed to be a mad craze about it yesterday. It was probably driven by all of the hype on the media. The problem is that clueless voting is NOT patriotic. And most people are clueless politically. Encouraging mass voting simply feeds the two party duopoly. People show up to the voting booth, choose their "McBama", and walk away feeling good about themselves not realizing that they just did their little part to work themselves farther into slavery.
And maybe even worse is the belief that "patriotism" means voting. They did their civic duty and now they don't have to think about politics for the next 4 years. Yee Hee! Actual patriotism means scrutinizing the actions of elected officials and holding them accountable. It requires being actively involved, not just pushing a button on a Diebold machine every few years.

The real purpose of voting in a republic is not to make a reasoned choice. It's to see how the civil war would come out, in a way that convinces the losers that they'd also lose the war if they tried to reverse the decision by force.
If the same non-thinking people could be recruited into an army by the same other people, ideology, and propaganda techniques, I WANT them to go vote.
Losing an election to a mob of idiots is SO much better than losing a war to the same mob of idiots.
