Dugg #193
Thanks for the video
well theres an answer to a question thatd been nagging me
at the end of the interview he is asked if he was happy with the less than 50% success rate on the list of people he'd supported for office. He acknowledged that a number of them were "pretty risky". So he wasnt nuts by endorsing some pretty questionable candidates- he was aware but saw a need to take some risks.
11/06/08 not 10/06/08
This video is from today not last month. Can someone change that.
No they are not listening , they are in a secret meeting
HYDROMAN
some where in Bumfu*k , Virginia.
Must be a precession of the
Must be a precession of the Buiderburg strategy before the mane event.
This is right at the top at #1 on Digg Hot in World News:
http://digg.com/all/world...
How to make it go popular to front page:
1) Digg up ALL comments - even the ones you despise. Click the "expand all" link near top and wait for all comments to expand, then click thumbs up on all of them.
2) Post a few comments, but be respectful, don't post anything negative to be attacked.
3) Keep Digging!
The main point is to spread the word, not have an argument.
The only thing Digg is worthwhile for, is to try to get a story to the front page where it will be seen by thousands of people. Otherwise, it pretty much a time waster, or something to do for fun.
Negative comments drag the Digg down. Who cares what some anonymous Internet poster has to say? Just ignore them and give them a positive thumbs up - that way everyone can see their ignorant comment anyway. Why do them the favor of hiding their ignorance?
If you argue with them, it will just lead to more buries and more negative diggs. If they get all positive ratings, trolls usually just go away.
So that was you who sent me that shout
I think I get your point now. Are you saying that the number of "thumbs up" has as much to do with getting an article on the front page as the number of Diggs?

Yes, I believe it's a factor.
I have experience with several Diggs recently going popular - immediately while I was voting up negative rated comments.
I think Digg programmers figure, if there are negative comments then the story must not be news worthy to a wide range of people - the exact same stance that they take with requiring a diversity of Diggers.
But even more than that, if you argue with people who are burying the Digg, it only encourages them to get more invovled and call in friends to Bury too.
If you ignore them, then they have nothing to do and don't get as invovled. Don't feed the trolls.
It looks like it's too late for this one, it already got buried.
I have not seen one go popular after it has been buried, no matter how many more Diggs it gets or how the comments are rated.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech
why
why didn't those folks in Virginia invite him, I'm gonna have to contact some people there, tell them to get there head out of their ass and invite Ron Paul!
Oh, come on, Ron!
He gets a softball question from John Roberts--"Where do you think the country's headed with an Obama presidency?" and Dr. Paul brings up Iraq and then answers a question he wasn't asked about Republicans!!! For Pete's sake!
Under a Comrade Obama presidency with a House and Senate overwhelmingly Democratic, we're in for a far larger dose of the very policies that got us where we are today...Higher taxation because Senator Obama believes in wealth redistribution and has stated so, a policy derived from the Communist Manifesto and not the Constitution. Given his demonstable lack of understanding regarding monetary policy, he is likely to continue the unconstitutional relationship with the Federal Reserve System, which will continue to print money in order to pay for government programs that have bankrupted the nation. This will mean that Americans' federal tax dollars will continue to pay the bankers at the Fed the interest on the debt they've issued to the United States Government. Instead of eliminating failed Cabinet department such as Energy and Education, he will likely expand their budgets, further burdening the American people while providing no value to them at all as demonstrated by our complete lack of energy independence despite the spending of 3/4 of a trillion dollars on the Department of Energy, as well as the continuing decline in the American student's competitiveness with counterparts around the world.
Shall I go on? Come on, Dr. Paul! Let 'em have it!!! Can we get fierce here or what??? Take off the damned gloves--you've got nothing to lose!!!
Sometimes they agree what subject will be, before interview.
It's how they control what is said. If you break the agreement, they don't let you on again.
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
Dr. Paul is always one step ahead of us pygmies.
He is always polite and gives them every benefit of the doubt. He said that nothing will change, and he is probably right That Obama will try to move us in the direction of totalitarianism is really no different from what Bush has done. His message is always on target. If we want to see the country move in a different direction we must choose a different kind of leadership. The "change" candidate offers more of the same.
Which candidates won??
I saw a big list here on this website and only 1 came close to winning on the list I saw and that was tom mcclintock for house in california. Anyone know who the others are?
i feel as though
ron is actually getting better with every interview with making effective, digestible statements/answers to interview questions which show him in a very positive light with a great deal of wisdom. Added with a shot of that good ol 'omg lets actually use the constitution' humor hes always had, i think hes finally finding his balance and comfort level and really engaging the audience rather than giving long history lessons that no one (but us) care to listen about.
"Good to have you back in Congress"
He got THAT right.
But he should have added that Dr. Paul should be the president.
the video is gone
it must have been too good!
7 wins and 2 yet undeclared
Does anyone know who these are? Are they with Ron in the House or Senate?
What a great interview. Ron Paul is becoming the wise and trusted source. The more they keep having him on the better.
Great way to start the day!
Undeclared
The two undeclared:
Virgil Good (R-VA) Incumbent. Right now his opponent, Tom Perriello, leads by 31 votes. It is expected that there will be a recount. Already, there has been much controversy regarding the counting of provisional ballots.
Tom McClintock (R-CA) The most recent data I have found shows McClintock with 155,771 (50.1%) and his opponent, Charlie Brown, with 155,320 (49.1%). Brown is expected to call for a recount.
There were two major disappointments for Liberty PAC candidates.
Marilyn Musgrove (R-CO) lost as did Thelma Drake (R-VA).
I found 8, not 7, Liberty PAC candidates who won. All are incumbents:
Paul Broun (R-GA)
Walter Jones (R-NC)
Doug Lamborn (R-CO)
Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD)
Denny Rehberg (R-MT)
Scott Garrett (R-NJ)
John Culberson (R-TX)
Michelle Bachman (R-MN)

Ron Paul's Convention Speech
FREEDOM!!
That was so inspiring!! I had to post it on my facebook wall to help wake up my peers. Viva la revolution!!!
Well, that was uplifting....
..I didn't think "we" had gotten any of our "guys" elected....
Go Dr. Paul!!
CNN wants information about the future of the republican party
They turn to ???? Ron Paul.
The times they are a changin'
Let them meet without Ron Paul
Don't look for the GOP to include Ron Paul in anything, and therein lies their problem. They're not the party of conservatives anymore than the Democrats are. In fact, they have put America on the slippery slope of decline in huge ways. Why? Because their leadership is controlled by the likes of Bush, who are puppets of the global elite planners and do what they are told. They don't need, or want Ron Paul in the room.
Ron NEEDS to be at those meetings
To take over the Republican Party, which is the strategy of the Campaign for Liberty, we need to get our own people elected into party leadership positions. Not only congressmen, but local party chairmen, etc... We can't afford to be blase about being excluded.
Did you hear Roberts say:
Did you hear Roberts say: "We'll KEEP FOLLOWING YOU to see what YOU get done". We have to keep our movement alive for ourselves ad so Ron Paul can show them(Republicans and the media) what grassroots movements are all about when you have a powerful message!
Thanks for typing that quote.
I didn't really pay attention to that when I watched it.
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
Thanks for the vid
I think John Roberts is a libertarian.
"Lead, follow, or get out of the way."
-- Thomas Paine
Two things:
1. Yes! We got 7 Ron Paul-supported congressmen elected! It's a good start. Ron Paul is no longer alone. Expect more in 2010 and a lot more in 2012 once we have some real planning and experience.
2. The Republican leadership did not even invite Ron Paul to this confab in Virginia to plan a "Contract with America". That needs to change. We need to become the "party elders" and we need to make sure Ron Paul is invited to any planning sessions about the future of the Republican Party. If that means twisting some arms, so be it.
I didn't see the ulterior motive of CNN in that one.
Was it just to take a jab at the Republican Party?
Or at the Liberty Pac election results? Or both.
Or just a ratings grab.
Either way, Ron Paul did well, and I liked that he didn't let the reporter cut him off in mid sentence at one point - Paul pressed on with his sentence.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech
Nice clean title Jdayh.
Thanks for posting.
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
This guy always does a pretty decent interview...
BOY was Dr. Paul able to get in some zingers regarding the Republicans losing their way. I found it to be hilarious that the Republican leadership is off on a mountain top somewhere to try to figure out how to "rejuvenate" the party and they didn't invite Paul (who had ALL of the YOUNG supporters).... thus, leaving Paul available for CNN to call on the topic of "the FUTURE of the Republican Party". How satisfying!
