Troop movements - something big about to happen?
In regard to Northcom and the 10/1 deployment of troops within our homeland.

... Bush is pulling 2 brigades home from Iraq early... since when did Bush bring troops home early? The reason for his change of heart is given as "reduced violence in Iraq". (on the same day as a suicide bomb at Baghdad Airport)
So here's where we're at: We have a baseline brigade deployment as of 10/1/08. Northcom has been in existence since 2002, but never received any troops until 10/1/08. Within the past few weeks, leaders around the world have given vague warnings of a large scale event, possibly in January. Now in November, the army suddenly decides to bring 2 combat-ready brigades home. They have the intention of also training and deploying an additional 2 brigades under Northcom.
Be vigilant. It is imperative that we keep a close eye on this because there is no doubt that the powers are moving large numbers of combat troops on the homeland... the real questions are "for what" and "when".

Today I talked to a military recruiter
I work in a shopping center and there is a Armed Forces recruitment office. As I was walking along the walkway a soldier walked out and almost ran into me.
The soldier said, "It looked like you were coming in."
I replied,"No thanks, I'm militia. I don't trust this government anymore but I respect your service and I have a friend serving in Kuwait."
He asked,"Militia?"
I said, "Yes, California Republican Militia." He was surprised I said that and gave me a wired look.
As we were walking I was a few steps ahead of him and I stopped and asked if he heard about the 3rd Infantry Combat Battalion. He asked what I was talking about.
I told him they were deployed in the USA on Oct,1 2008. He had no idea what I was talking about. He asked where they were deployed. I told him Colorado Springs.
He then asked why and I replied, "That's what I want to know."

i thought i was being paranoid - here's why
i am in nyc & today i was walking to a dr appt on the upper east side of manhattan. as i begin approaching the office, i see & hear 2 very loud, oversized helicopters fly quite low over head. then i hear at least 1 more, maybe 2, but couldn't see them (building was covering them).
i turn to a random dog walker standing next to me & he said "those are army copters." then we hear another fly by.
i also noticed more than usual police presence on the street today - but wasn't sure if i was just being paranoid b/c of the helicopters that i saw earlier. until someone at work said how odd she thought it was that there are so many cops on the street today.
wtf is going on?? this is freaking me out.

Preperations to combat civil unrest?
Could it be someone knows Obama will be declared constitutionally ineligible to take office? If that happens to call it civil unrest will a masive understatement and it may take military force to "secure the peace".
For every brigade they bring in to use against us,

I told my dad that there could be 3 possible scenarios that happen in the US: the first one is the crisis that Colin Powell mentioned happening a few days after Obama is inagurated into office and the second one, involving a murder attempt on Obama, thus killing him. I even told my dad that we could have a Great Crises involving more than 1 crisis at a time. BTW, my dad told me that many Vets are pissed off at the VA because their papers were shredded. I agree ... "defensive posture" is seen everywhere, and it's not just the military. Yesterday I traveled about 2 hours on Interstate 93 and took note that the NH State Police were out in larger numbers than I've ever seen. At one location, several state police vehicles were assembled along the highway with signs that read, "Caution, police ahead" ... My initial impression was that they were conducting training excercises for road blocks, but also that the large number of state troopers on the highway may have been scheduled for election week in the event of civil unrest. (You know, they're "keeping us safe")

maybe it has something to do with the fear/likelihood that there will be another domestic terrorist attack in the coming months. history shows that they often occur soon after a new administration is in place...probably due to our security vulnerabilities created by the transition.

maybe, but...
i believe that there is real hatred for us out there that drives people to do awful things to us. it is the fault of our government and their atrocious policy, no doubt; but the threat is real nonetheless. i too am concerned about our government misusing its power and turning on the people, but we need to keep a cool head and not make claims that we cannot unequivocally back (i'm not saying you did). when we do, we lose respect and credibility, and our efforts become counterproductive.

Saw a train this morning on
Saw a train this morning on my way into work that was moving through Gallatin, TN. It was about 2 miles long and was made up entirely of flatcars filled to capacity with military Hummers, Jeeps, Medical Vehicles, Trucks etc. The track runs parallel to the highway and it was running N/NE at about 65 mph. Biggest transport of military vehicles I've ever seen..... It actually felt kinda creepy.
