I woke up a little less than a year ago and have been following the r3volution almost every day. I poured alot of money into the campaign and never thought about getting anything back.
Well, that didn't happen. My family received thousands more than what I contributed to the campaign and we would have lost thousands had I stayed outside the r3volution. Thanks to the advice of online radio personalities like the good people at Break the Matrix, RPR broadcasting, the Alex Jones show and, of course, the Daily Paul I convinced my wife about seven months ago to take all of the money out of the stock market and put it into fixed interest. She's smart and saw the handwriting on the wall.
Where she works other people have lost tens of thousands of dollars hoping this market will rebound. This r3volution sure has cured my apathy and given us more than we ever contributed.

I usually think about how much Ron Paul has changed my
awareness of politics, the Constitution, and opened my eyes to the lies of the government that I had accepted so long I forget that he actually saved me and my family a severe financial hit. I listened to him and got my financial house in order, I warned, nagged and cajoled my Mom to quit listening to her financial advisor, pull her money out of those "safe stocks" and put it someplace safe. I tried to warn my sister, did just about everything I could, but her Neocon husband laughed at me and my RP antics, and they lost hundreds of thousands of dollars and are now panicking.
RP is my hero.

Yup, I maxed out, gave $$$ to the blimp, etc.,
but I also yanked my simple IRA and bought hard assets, and I'm still buying them. I owe it to the R3volution and you folks here on DP that I am now well positioned for the coming worldwide panic.

I pulled my 401k on Jan 3 and have saved over $70,000 from my retirement fund.

I let mine sit and lost close to 30K. I'm in bond accounts now but in the process of moving it so I can buy more gold. I should have made changes at the beginning of the year.
I am also SO very grateful to Dr. Paul for putting himself out there for us every day and continuing to keep us informed of things. For fighting the bailouts, continuing to go on all the news shows to enlighten folks about our monetary system, educating us with his books, columns, etc. He is one of the few that I really trust when it comes to these things.
