Well, it depends

If you value silver for it's "jewelry, and silverware" value only, it may not come around anytime soon. But, when you value in the unique industrial properties of silver. ( If you don't know these, you'll have to do some research on your own.) Couple this with the decline in production, the continued consumption, the extreme manipulation of the Comex, and the eventual flight to a safety net of "something the government can't inflate away", and maybe, just maybe, we'll see the real value, and who knows what that is? Have you ever held a 1 oz. gold coin in one hand, and 1 oz. silver coin in the other, and asked yourself, if this gold coin is worth $800, and it's only vaule is that people like to wear it as jewelry, then why is this silver coin only worth $10, which has jewelry vaule, and multiple unique industrial values?.........I think adjustments are coming. I think too many people have been conditioned to think what they're told to think.

Do you understand

economics and politics?

The government will send us to hyperinflation. Its only a matter of time.

I don't seem to understand economics and politics

in the same way that some of the self-proclaimed 'experts' on this forum do.

I hope you are right. My

I hope you are right. My husband is going nuts because of how much silver I bought. LOL

Hang in there, Chingching1

But then again ... he might leave you when silver hits $6.00 !

How much did you pay for it ? Not that it's any of my business !

soon

I will purchase a ranch...maybe several...for 1000 ounces of silver

An acre in a desert

does not a ranch make !

Good luck !

Around December there should be a correction because the COMEX market is going to implode. I'll wait and see.
I was thinking silver should really be priced about 10 times it's actual value (around $160.00 per ounce). Anyone else have any idea what the price of silver should be?

I will NOT sell one precious ounce of silver for less than $1,000.I will just keep buying more and more safes ,as I've been doing all along.
There IS a shortage of them as well...you know?

Reality check scheduled mid-December

We will see, the smoke and mirrors brigade may carry on, but there is another day of reckoning around 12-15. I don't get all the ins and outs of these markets, but I get this: A lot of people buy "paper" metals, and from time to time, the real metal has to be accounted for. That is what is coming up.
I live in mining country, and I can tell you these two incongruous things are going on right under my nose: Silver miners are out of work, silver mines are being sold to foreign nations. Meanwhile, at the downtown metals exchange, I can only buy junk silver, and the dealer tells me he is selling what locals bring in to sell him, he has no reliable sources himself now. And, the healthcare industry is being forced to turn BACK to silver as a medication - so now we have a NEW industrial NEED for silver, and it is serious: It is the only anti-microbial agent that has been found to be mutation-proof. (Get your mind around that: These hybrid bugs like MRSA would not even exist if we had STAYED with silver rather than embracing penicillin.) Now, the only weapon that will fight them is silver.
I don't know when, I don't know if I will live to see it, but I DO know that silver is being severely undervalued. If I had a hundred dollars in my pocket, I would go buy silver with it still. And I will not sell it until its value is very near that of gold; then the market will be reflecting the INTRINSIC value of these metals (very nearly even.)

"Junk"

is a good name for it !
