I told "Bonehead," either include Ron Paul in your leadership or expect to have no GOP to lead within the next few election cycles. After all, we Southerners survived perfectly well with one-party rule for over 100 years, and the Democrats need the GOP (as a sham opposition) more than we do.

at a Miami University rally -- Boehner indirectly referred to Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama as a "chicken shit" when he linked Obama's voting history in the Illinois state senate to decision making as President. Boehner went on to say that "...the last thing we need in the White House, in the oval office, behind that big desk, is some chicken..."

I'm sure the crowd went crazy after that.
After a quick look at his voting record,he voted for FISA.
He needs to go!!

This is the email that I sent to him.

Dear Congressman Boehner,

It amazes me each time I read an article from a politician after a stunning defeat; such as what happened on November 4th, 2008.
Your article in the Washington Post is a perfect example of why republicans lost so many Senate and House seats along with the presidency of the United States.

For example, Two paragraphs were of you denigrating Barack Obama and his supposed lies to get elected. One paragraph talks about Republicans 'Making' new jobs.

One paragraph talks about what Democrats are going to do, not what the GOP is going to do to make the changes that will show they are capable of leading. Another is you talking about you.

Your writing was a mish-mash of information. It showed the following:

1) You blame the Democrats for the Republicans defeat, not the GOP or its leadership over the last 8 years.
2) That you believe the Military is 'Offense' not Defense
3) It shows you believe that 'only' Republicans can be conservative.
4) That in some way, Republicans returning to the 'majority' will right all the wrongs of the Bush regime and the GOP leadership.
5) Or that you know what the American Dream is for everyone.

The defeat on election night was not the fault of the democrats, it lays solely with the poor leadership with in the GOP. Blaming others for our failures shows lack of integrity and willingness to pass the buck instead of putting blame where blame is due.

In that you believe the military is for Offensive uses shows you either don't understand the Constitution of the united States or you are willing to ignore it for political gain. Our military is to 'Defend' our nation from enemies external to America.

It's job is NOT to spread democracy around the world, nor is it to punish other nations for not being like the USA.

Returning Republicans to power is NOT supposed to be your job. As Congressman, you should be concerned about the laws that you support are constitutional, do not put an unfair burden on any one people, and are just. If you think filling Congress with more Republicans like the lunatics
we have had for the last 8 years is paramount, then please step down now.

If you believe that only Republicans can be conservative, then Republicans will continue to lose more elections. The are plenty of Conservative Democrats, Libertarians, Greens, and independents who will vote for you if you put Conservative first and the big (R) second.

If you think you know what the American Dream is, then you are lost. What one individual envisions as the American Dream maybe something entirely different for someone else. A house, family and a white picket fence might sound good, but it isn't the be all and end all of everyone's existence.
For the poor, it might mean having that second meal of the day and a non-leaky roof over your head. For another, being the first in your family to get a degree from a college might fulfill their dream. Stop trying to pigeon hole everyone into what your American Dream might be Congressman Boehner.

You claim that the Democrats are trying to give more power to Washington DC, yet the Republicans Party did exactly that themselves. Headstart,Medicare Part D, The Patriot Acts I and II, No Child left behind, were all pushed heavily by republicans over the last eight years. How can you lambast the democrats for issues we championed?

Finally, I am a Republican who has watch our party lose all sense of who we are. The GOP no longer believes in small government or that the individual is paramount in our society. I believe that the party is more concerned with getting elected than doing the right thing once they get into office. The party has shown they want to control every aspect of everyone's life. I only need to watch and read the stumps from the Presidential campaign and those with in my home state of Texas to know the Republican party is the party of fear and not Hope, Charity or Faith.

Too many times I watched John McCain and Sarah Palin call Barack Obama a terrorist, eluded to his past and the direction that the democratic party was going to take us as a nation. They never gave American's a sense of hope. That they had a plan that didn't include making Americans fearful there was a boggy man around every corner, out to get the United States and the American people.

From your own writing in this article Congressman Boehner, you are part of the problem. You might sound the trumpet of change, yet continue to blame the democrats for the lack of leadership the republicans were unwilling to provide.

If you think that you are one of the 'level' heads in the Republican Party then it is my belief were are screwed in 2010 and 2012.

call up an of Dr. Paul's offices, and you'll get some rude boob who thinks their time is worth a million bucks an hour, therefore they have to time to talk to us pee-ons. VERY disappointing to see something like this somewhere where Dr. Paul is supposedly in charge.
