They're really looking for more raw footage of the time to help enhance the movie and tell the full story. Congressman Ron Paul's run for the 2008 GOP Presidential nomination sparked a unique grassroots brush fire not seen in recent history. Ron Paul's integrity inspired and ended the apathy of many, which showed a large remnant of a belief in American liberty lives on.

An effort is currently underway to document this historical political insurgency against the elite system of modern day manipulation and control.

If you have original footage from Ron Paul's campaign, we're interested in acquiring a full res copy of the source footage. If used, the videographer will get their name included in the credits and a free copy of the final DVD. Please contact us if you would like to contribute footage to the historical record.

and to have been in most of those places when those things all happened...

that's something i'll never EVER forget.

it's going to be hard to put this movie to together i can see.

i'm going to be really picky - very protective of the memories we all made together. movie making is an art like so many other things. i just can't imagine getting the chance to do something like make this movie and then screw it all to hell.

it's just GOT to be better than anything we've seen so far.....

That won't be the title. It's just a line we put in the rough trailer for drama.

We're already planning the final act of the doc to focus on the future of the movement. We're in no way intending to say the R3V is over. Believe me, it's just begun. The purpose of the doc is for the historical record, and also to inspire for the future.

Most of this list is from about 6 months ago. I have no idea how many of them may be duplicates (although I don't believe there are too many). And I realize none of these are a "full res copy of the source footage." But they might give whoever a lead on where to find such footage, if desired. Meanwhile, enjoy! :-)

One minor thing I noticed was that "R3VOLUTION" does not work as well in small letters. I dislike "leet" speak anyway, it seems pretty corny to me, and I wouldn't recommend using it (I realize it's popular with some). But the font used would probably affect how it looks too - using a font that is blockier might make the 3 fit in better.

Suggestions for alternatives

Changing that line should be a priority, many people read the Daily Paul and if the trailer goes viral, you won't be able to stop it...

My suggestions for that line would be more like:

"The R3volution, alive and well !"
"We will NOT stop the fight !"
"The R3volution, how it was, how it will be !"
"Coming soon to a county near you" (state or district also works)
"Our forefathers won the fight, their fathers secured it, it was forgotten, our fathers suffered, we WILL revive it !"
"The R3volution, mind our past, change our future"
"Recognize the threat, understand the solution, join our fight !"
"The R3volution, forever", "The R3volution, forever yours" or "The R3volution, yours truly"
"A R3volution to remember, a R3volution to come !"
"The R3volution: don't expect it to work the first time, rince and repeat !"
