When Ron Paul went back into congress in 1994 he sent all of us who were on his subscription to his newsletter to Richard Maybury's early warning report.. this is how I found out about EWR.. when it comes to economics and libertarian Ideals this man is right up there with Ron Paul.. he would have made a great VP! please read this.. Please subscribe to EWR. This man is usually very optimisitic.. this month in his news letter he has changed.. and not for the good.. Please take the time to read. You need to prepare now for your families!
Love you all!

Maybury's books are great

I used his books while home schooling my son on economics. Every kid should read them. They totally go along with the theory of Austrian Economics. I also read Hayak's book at the same time.

Smartest Liberty Minded People....

SIERRAHPBT,

If he is so liberty minded smart -- can you tell me what if anything he has done to REALLY support people like Iriwn Schiff, William Cooper; or don't you mean he is a Thoreau Liberty Minded Smart Person; do you mean he is a Money Addict Happy to One Day Eat his Dollar Federal Reserve Notes, when all rivers toxic, and in his opinion Thoreau Liberty Minded people are well .... just irrelevant.....

Not clear; I read his piece, and from that article there is nothing that inspires me to even think of subscribing, even if I could afford it, and it only cost one penny... That piece was so shallow, and superficial; I was a little surprised it came so highly recommended. Of course the stuff he writes that is so 'profound' might only be behind his subscription...

Anyway, I didn't do an indepth further reading of his website, cause well, the page you sent to, I didn't find anything that said to me 'hmmm... ideas could be found here... '

Just my views, perhaps I'm wrong; I still am inspired by most of Ron Paul's work... but Ron Paul's got a moral compass, like Thoreau had, I didn't get anything from this guy.... and that's okay; if that is who he is; then thats fine, at least he isn't pretending to be anyuthing other than what he is.. and I'm happy for him if he is happy.

1st off why hide behind a

1st off why hide behind a new name.. your 23 minute membership says alot... Ron Paul and James Maybury are great friends.. His veiws are exactly like Ron Pauls .. I became a subscriber to EWR when Ron Paul referred his subscribers because Ron Paul went into congress and had to stop his news letter because of conflict of interest being back in the congress. Maybury also has a set of 7 or books written on the subject of liberty. They would make great Christmas gifts to younger children and adults who are new to the liberty movement.. as far as the rest of your question , why would you think this guy is money addict? you admit you did not look into him so why ask the questions you did without further investigation? again why only the 23 minute membership to the daily paul who are you?

We are not living in a capitalist system.

Well we are, but not officially, capitalism simply communicates the real value of things. When we try to abstract and artificially control value we get the kind of situations that we are witnessing now, its the violent fits of a lunatic attempting to will a circumstance into existance inspite of the limitations placed on him by reality. I'm so thankful to Ron Paul and all of the people with a mind for real value and liberty. I've learned so much by diving into the reading, the videos and a different way to think about the world. Mr Mayburys book "whatever happened to penny candy" is a very simple and profound explaination of what sound money is and how what we have today isn't sound money. I highly recommend it.

It's true that we would gain more

if we waited till the bottom arrived before buying, but I'll bet that hasn't stopped Rick Maybury from buying. You've got to buy when it's available and availability has been declining. Also, as spot prices fall, premiums have been rising. For all we know, the true bottom, the price we can buy gold and silver for, is already here. Finally, supposing we can buy gold and silver for less some day to come, it might last only a short while, perhaps days, and we might not have a chance to buy all we want in that interval. The rise from the bottom may be precipitous.

for thoughtfully answering my question, McClarinJ....
really appreciate it.

______

The genius of our ruling class is that it has kept a majority of the people from ever questioning the inequity of a system where most people drudge along, paying heavy taxes for which they get nothing in return. ~ Gore Vidal

Good article with good points

The only thing that I would add is that when the gold/dow ratio is 1:1, it is time to sell some gold and invest in stocks. Of course, that is if there is a stock market left after all this flushes out.

Thanks for the read, Sierra.

I understand that Richard could not give a definite answer, but any personal idea how long one can possibly hold out to consider buying silver?

photo, the spot price and

photo,
the spot price and the physical prices are 2 different markets. Maybury is saying that right now is the time to buy. the price has come down artificially 60% from its high. the problem is there is a shortage and its hard to find right now.. I don't know how much you want to buy, but I would start truing to find what you want.. Maybury is a very conservative guy.. he is not a doom and gloomer, he reminds me exactly of Ron Paul.. but in his November news letter he is saying by next summer or fall we are looking at a rebellion in this country. We are going into high inflation.
I would try to buy what you want right now.. I don't care if silver goes to spot price 2.00 per ounce.. if the physical costs 12.00 ounce the spot price does not make any differnce. now the lead, zinc, and other types of mines are closing because of the economy heading from recession to depression so that is that much less silver coming to market because silver is a byproduct of those types of mining.. Also if there is a default on the comex soon you will be lucky to find silver at 50.00 per ounce.. Novemeber 28th is the day the december gold and silver contracts become do.. that is the time we should see if there is any truth to the comex default! better get what you want right now.
