County Committee Executive officers quit

the Republican label is worthless. Well, "Made in Japan" was a joke until Toyata, Datusn (Nissan) and Honda imported quality vehicles. Once you take over, you have two challenges. The relatively easy one is recruiting quality candidates, and that's tough enough. Much harder will be keeping the back-stabbing scum out. The best way you can do this is to stand by your principles, and ruthlessly enforce party discipline against anyone who doesn't.

This has not, and probably never will happen in MA. The people here are too stupid and dependent on the state to manage their lives.
Funny that the places with the most honest working people are the ones with the more libertarian government while those that set themselves up as welfare magnets and nanny states are rife with the apathetic and ignorant.
It all comes down to personal responsibility.

Absolutely makes sense to get involved with the county Republican Party. Third Party's are just not a viable option at this time. All it takes is an hour or so a month to go to county Republican meetings. Then get to work on transforming them.

I guess it is about power and control and if they can't have them, then they don't want part of it what makes this country great.

Let me keep the state off the screen for right now in case we have moles, but I'm in the largest legislative district in our state. We have the votes and the proxies to elect all 5 district officers at our next meeting (coming up soon). That is unless they are successful in playing dirty tricks. We blind-sided them at the last meeting with 73 votes to their 37 to elect all our people to the Nominating Committee but they've already started changing rules (and the next meeting location) in an attempt to hold on to power by invalidating our proxies.

Two of the three largest districts in our state have more RP people as PC's than the old guard has.

Think good thoughts for us. I'll start a new string in the next couple of weeks to let you all know how the vote went.

I hope that we see more of this. I am a newly elected committee member and my first official meeting is in December. Hope to see a lot of empty neocon seats! :)

Out here in the People's Republic of New Jersey, we don't have to worry about our 'executive committee' exiting anytime soon!

I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...

and organize an orderly takeover, before they change their minds!

Did they put it in writing? did they resign on film or audio? When are their resignations effective?

These are the breaks we are looking for and so well need! do not wait another day!

here in Washington,but I did get
an email from the party after the election that sounded like they were pretty darn depressed and had no clue as to what to do next.

Many counties didn't have many of the Precinct Committee Person slots filled, and if we had all done as Dr. Paul suggested and became candidates for these slots, we would be able to influence GOP policy and take over the county offices and, eventually the state!

Do you got Ron Paul like-minded people who can take those positions there? Please keep us updated on what's going on.
