(CBS) To call them a political odd couple would be a rash understatement.
Conservative media mogul Rupert Murdoch will host a fundraiser for liberal New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, the Financial Times reports.
The mating ritual of the unlikely allies has been under way for months. Clinton set political tongues to wagging last month by attending a Washington party celebrating the 10th anniversary of Fox News, the cable news channel owned by Murdoch.
The Financial Times quoted one unnamed source as describing the Clinton-Murdoch connection in this way: "They have a respectful and cordial relationship. He has respect for the work she has done on behalf of New York. I wouldn't say it was illustrative of a close ongoing relationship. It is not like they are dining out together."
The fundraiser will take place in July, the newspaper said. Clinton is the frontrunner for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination, though she has not indicated whether or not she will run.

Create a Ron Paul vs Hillary video for Youtube!

Soon Faux News and shrillary will go down.
Karma will hurt them pretty badly big time once ron paul wins.
weird
That's strange. So then why does Murdoch call himself a libertarian?
Honesty...???
He has not concept of the truth. Murdock is a psychopath and should be highest on the list for retribution once freedom rings.
Why wouldn't he?
Everybody claims to be a libertarian. Everybody wants to believe that they support liberty in some capacity. Even fascists thought they protected liberty from worse forces like communism.
Murdoch
wants Hillary because fox news will get ratings from all the Hillary haters for 4 years.
A Ron Paul presidency ruins the network. are they going to spend 4 years telling their viewers that a republican is bad?
Their feeble minded viewers heads will explode trying to figure it out.
None of these people give damn about the American people, and one can only hope that the people wake up.
Murdoch wants Hillary...
Cuz it's part of the neo-con master plan...
Rupert Murdoch wants a news monopoly because he can control people's access to information. If he really wanted ratings Ron Paul would be ALL OVER the news.
Since when do news networks not all compete to cover the hottest trend? Ron Paul is huge and not a word from the MSM.
Too bad Murdoch wasted his money.
The mainstream media is dead.
How does this Judith Regan suit fit in???? mmmm....
Ex-Publisher Says News Corp. Official Wanted Her to Lie to Protect Giuliani
By RUSS BUETTNER - NEW YORK TIMES
Judith Regan, the book publisher who was fired by the News Corporation last year, asserts in a lawsuit filed today that a senior executive at the media conglomerate encouraged her to mislead federal investigators about her relationship with Bernard B. Kerik during his bid to become homeland security secretary in late 2004.
The lawsuit asserts that the News Corporation executive wanted to protect the presidential aspirations of former Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, Mr. Kerik's mentor, who had appointed him New York City police commissioner and had recommended him for the federal post.

Setting up to Giuliani to lose
The reason Fox News campaigns for Giuliani is because he has about a 1,000 skeletons in his closet. In a Hillary / Giuliani contest you would just need to show Rudy in a dress and he would lose. There is already talk of a third party candidate to further split the Republican party and ensure the Democratic win. Fox News is playing both sides but it is a Faux choice.
Vote for Ron Paul in 2008!!!
Remember bulliani beat bill.
He might beat shrillary.
Story
I live in Wisconsin and am a fairly well known Libertarian who supports Ron Paul. So I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday who happens to be a Republican Party operative, about the Paul campaign.
Anyways, I mentioned to him that Rupert Murdock threw a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton and his jaw just dropped and he remained silent for several seconds.
This information about the Hillary/Rupert love pact should be more widely known.
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for James Madison.
Makes sense to me
.
Political parties have little to do with this. Both Hillary and Murdoch are elitists, CFR members, enjoy the privilege of the ruling classes and are "made" guys.
The terrible destabilization in the economy and prestige we are all experiencing are part of a larger plan - the eventual merger with Canada and Mexico into the North American Union. As long and Bush and Cheney (who are close to the Clintons) are ruling, we will see a further economic erosion, possibly a mammoth depression, if the dollar goes belly-up, and if there is some other catastrophic occurrence, such as nuclear war in the MidEast or another 911-style attack in the U.S. None of the above people are to be trusted with our well-being.
There is something else that concerns me. In recent weeks we have seen quite a few positive pieces about Ron Paul in the media--beginning with the $5m raised in the 3rd quarter; and again on the MoneyBomb day. Dr. Paul has appeared on many TV shows also, which is great. As well, he has gotten some pretty fine support from various journalists.
But I do not trust our present system and often get the feeling that Dr. Paul is being "allowed" to move forward; that Hillary has "already won" the election next year--through skewed election results and other underhanded means. This would keep the global agenda on track while giving the appearance of fairness.
But, on the bright side... what we have witnessed with Dr. Paul in the past few months (going back to June) has been a series of miracles. He has steadily moved from zero to being a top-tier contender. As he has moved forward, millions of people have awakened to his message of freedom and are active and positive about a new rebirth of our Republic. That a young man from Florida could set up November 5th and ultimately raise $4+ million---20,000 new supporters!?--is astonishing. It is, to me, miraculous; as though some unseen force is propelling this good man and his message forward; that the road opens up at the right time. I am optimistic that this will continue, and that Hillary and Murdoch and their nasty associates will reap the whirlwind.
.
Murdoch is no conservative!
Murdoch is a COLLECTIVIST
He will use whatever issue or personality that can best advance the cause of the elites. Totalitarian, collectivist one world government. He has been meeting with and coaching Hillary for years.
HE DOES NOT NEED TO BE WOOING BOTH SIDES OR THE WINNING SIDE. THEY MANUFACTURE THE WINNING SIDE!
If we cannot wake up Americans to this game with "this" information, then we are truely lost.
Washington doesn't need more lawyers.
It needs a doctor!
Dr. Ron Paul *** RX for Freedom
Still cannot figure out why Murdoch would like Hillary at all
This was, sadly, predictable and it shows that Julie Annie and the other mainstream Rep candidates were only built up by Fox News in order to cast them aside for the real deal liberalism that Murdoch craves.
Murdoch is also hedging his bets. He wants to be best friends with whomever wins so he thinks he needs to be best friends with Hillary and Julie.
Notwithstanding that this could easily just be a ploy to hedge bets, ask Judge Napolitano what the atmosphere is like at Fox News these days. They are almost as socialist as any of the alphabet news programs.
Any Republican male with a brain would have noticed Fox News becoming more into the group-hug-feminized male, big government megaphone it has become over the past two years.
I don't know why however. Murdoch got divorced recently and he was taken to the cleaners by his ex-wife for $300Million. Then he married a really young woman from China, which is apparently a politically incorrect thing to do among the Hillary types (they would call his wife names like "mail order bride"). So I would have thought that Murdoch would feel a natural aversion to Hillary.
Some people theorize that, because women spend 80% of the money in the USA, TV programming needs to specifically attract them in order to justify huge ad costs.
The theory says that Murdoch would assume, IMO incorrectly, that women are more socialist than men and would mostly want to gravitate to Hillary. It is true that 25% of Republican women plan to vote for Hillary according to a Rasmussen poll recently.
That Julie Annie
is a freaking hilarious name. LOL....I though Girliani was hilarious, but this Julie Annie won hands down.
they're freemason pigs thats
they're freemason pigs thats why
