No More as Sitting Ducks, We Unite in Patriot Wheels
Time for you and your blogsters-buddies to spare a little space and time from your clever musings and get back to the serious business of continuing the advance of our Revolution. We are sitting ducks in our continued disunity and must PEACEFULLY defend our Constitution because the alternative isn't pretty. Individually, we are vulnerable; a spark, not a torch. We were promised a plan to advance our noble Revolution that has not materialized.
Organized unity is a revolution's lifeblood, especially one of civil disobedience. Yet most patriots are unaware of the simple formula that connects quickly and expands exponentially through circles of patriots. In a matter of WEEKS we can cover our land with interlinking circles.
"Wheels within wheels" or patriot circles intersect other circles... like Stevenson, the Canadian hero and "A Man Called Intrepid", who united the European underground prior to the outbreak of WWII.
The plan was/is easy, free, fast, secure and powerfully effective with no memberships, no lists, no dues or donations, just people organizing themselves into small groups, uniting an underground of "Resistors", "Watchmen", "Minutemen", PATRIOTS.
If we neglect to organize ourselves, there can never be unity. Without unity, our goal to restore our highest law is but wasteful talk. The Constitution of the United States protects us only if we ACT BEFORE the knife is at our throat.
Peaceful unity must be broadcast everywhere on the Internet and relayed personally while there is yet time. Spread the concept but keep it simple:
You gather a small circle of patriots; each, in turn, contacts another person who forms another circle, and on and on. It WILL spread and we WILLl connect, communicate and become a united, individual part of the whole Revolution. Establish public contact areas in case of emergency or power outage and representatives of circles will begin meeting with other representatives in counties and states as we expand our numbers in unity and loyalty across our land. Our leaders will arise from among us when it is time.
May the Lord grant us time to Unite our peaceful Revolution, the Wisdom to seek the path of unity and Victory over the ancient Enemy, His and ours.

Patriots are coming together.....Continental Congress 2009?
We the People Foundation.org is calling for delegates to meet for the Continental Congress 2009, first one since the Founders (see my post)and unite our cause, date to be announced soon. Seems the time has come... This old thread about circles and wheels showed me a simple way to get organized securely. I discussed it with a few friends who think like we do and it works for us. We interact with a few other people who have spun off their own groups. It feels right, like we are finally getting organized and advancing the revolution "from the bottom up", in a united front.
Now today I get the news of this Continental Congress. I told the people in my group that we can now elect one of us to be a representative to meet with other reps who elect a delegate to go to this People's Congress. Funny how things fall into place when you begin to see the light and get pro-active. Any body else connecting?
Can anyone expand on............
or give some more insight to this concept?

Disorganization = Chaos = Defeat
The ideas Jones presents may have merit for a rugged survival strategy, even noteworthy for preparedness but this Revolution is not in survival mode.. yet. God Willing, we have time to change the course of this struggle by civil action. We have what it takes within our grasp.
If the primary goal of this Revolution is to Restore the Constitution and one considers preparation in wheels or private circles an advancement towards that goal (securing individual circles and ideals), why would one think it "disorganized"? Disorganization and isolation, whether of an individual, a circle or revolution, must be understood as counter-productive to a successful civil disobedient national revolution. Organization, however minimal or rough, will be apparent in each circle that covers the essentials: advancement of the primary goal, security of individuals, assured continuance, and the establishing of alternative systems of communication within the circle and beyond..
In a survival mode, no one is to be trusted. In open civil disobedience, we are often called to trust people....but we brand our calves. Openness is necessary to establish the just claims of law-abiding citizens, expands our numbers, delays abuses, arrests, seizures, confounds the opposition and surges forward our Revolution. We declare our cause openly, bravely, urgently, while preparing for the worst. The balance maintained between advancing of the Revolution and the security of each circle is determined by the individual circle.
We are at the decisive moment of this Revolution. We MUST present an open, visible, civil-resistance to the enemy. No hard and fast rules beyond the peaceful civil disobedient Restoration of the Constitution of the United States.
We form our circles but we don't run because we know we can't hide.

The Dutch-Paris Underground, unarmed, moved about visibly day to day saving hundreds from certain death and almost certainly shortened the war.
Currently I have two in my local circle. I also have formed relationships with people born out of our Revolution whom I would trust with my life. They live in my state within 60 miles of my home. I consider that a secondary, extended circle.

Agesilaus, I don't go along with Jones on disorganization. I addressed it in the comment I made tonight.... wanted to be sure you caught it.
If resistance is completely disorganized, it could never be effective except for survival, which could happen if our civil disobedient revolution should fail. Let's make sure that doesn't happen. Regards....

Sounds like the spread of Christianity
through small circles of converts. That process actually took centuries, not weeks, but it was before the Internet.

Trouble Is,
among libertarians too many want to be the big wheel.
NOBODY IS A BIG WHEEL IN THIS SIMPLE SYSTEM.
The beauty of this system is that NOBODY is in charge. Each small circle touches other circles by only one person. It was instrumental in defeating Fascism before and it will defeat it again.
Read the comments. For the most part, they already have grasped the essence of the system and have initiated their own circles. Even now, we spread across this nation.
Read it and pass it on.

I started reading The Discovery of Freedom- Man's Struggle Against Authority by Rose Wilder Lane today. So far as I've read, your comment that nobody is a big wheel seems to compliment the book very nicely. Have you read this book?

(There was unfortunately difference of opinion, downright arguing over silly things, disorganization, etc in meet-ups I experienced. Things are more serious now and disrupters should stand down.)
Is there to be any forumla/formality to the circles?
I can think of one must-have common thread: dispense/study the Constitution. And SNn9 (read upside-down).

Thank you for the best plan I have read ANYWHERE, requiring nothing but an individuals effort to safeguard ones values.
Your article and subsequent comments make it clear that we need not rely on ANYONE to do what needs to be done. Now I know what I must do and will do it. My circle becomes a wheel within THE WHEELS of our great Revolution to restore our Constitution. Too simple for the diffused mind to see, the self-responsible patriot will grasp its' values immediately. Thanks again. I am blogging it where ever I go.

I think we already have a start on this with our email circles and these boards. The problem in the past though has been not enough people awake. Still the same problem but more are waking up, however they are groggy and reluctant to step up fully just yet. It can be frustrating and perhaps doing what you suggest puts a more focused and concerted effort on getting the word out and hopefully can break the log jam.
One suggestion for folks feeling a bit isolated like they don't have any potential like minded people locally is to hook up with a local rod and gun club and start brushing up on your shooting skills and get to know some folks. You might find some folks are very like minded and having similar conversations as we all have.

I like this idea, community
I like this idea, community is key. That's why I hope to see the campaign for liberty website grow in traffic and use as a forum. I love DailyPaul, but then I know there are a dozen other sites that have their own regulars (I try to keep up on one or two others) that visit forums and make important contacts. Between the meetup groups, the C4L, Restore the Republic, etc..I feel like our potential to gather around central issues and organize is somewhat hurt.
Here's hoping the C4L continues to tweak the system and gain more support. I think one of their best features is the "calls to action" they send out (like during the congressional vote on TARP). These seem to garner recognition from all the other revolutionary sites and unite us to action!
But yea, I like the idea of circles (always preferred them to squares anyway, hah!).

For many years, the few voices urging this fundamental support system have been ignored, stone-walled. Well-known "patriotic" web-sites have refused similar articles, deleted blogs and continued to isolate their subscribers and memberships from individual thinking, preparedness and action. Of the many groups joined or contacted, this writer found no leader/organizer willing to see the value you have recognized. Short-sightedness and petty political self-interests blinded them to the wisdom within this time-proven formula. Our individual efforts, the effectiveness of our nationwide numbers and the sustainable continuance of our goals suffered. It is, perhaps, too simple to be considered of value by most; more likely, the lack of a built-in financial gain is a factor.
Whatever the errors, that phase is past and we have learned much. Now we go forward again, turning the page with a renewed passion for freedom and a wiser understanding of our individual responsibility to ourselves and the Revolution we serve. Forming our small groups, we unite our numbers across our land. Our leaders will arise when we have prepared our Revolution with THE ONLY THING THE ENEMY FEARS: organized individual circles ready to unite at Freedom's Call. The simplicity and invaluable effects of this formula, passed on to us from those who looked ahead in other dark and changing times, were instrumental in defeating the same Evil in days gone by.
Pass it on and on. This ground work shall not be in vain and, God Willing, we shall not be easily fooled again. We are the grassroots of Liberty.

Take heart though because this HAS been brought up on here recently and there were alot in agreement. Jdayh has also posted about making your own militias within a trusted group of family and friends. I wish I could find that thread!!
For me, this seems to be a logical solution for growth of Patriot forces with minimal security risks! I have been training on my own for now, walking and lifting weights and excersize! I have plans to get self defense weapons and target practice. Also, I have a few in mind to bring into my wheel! Also stocking up on survival basics.
If we each take on the personal responsibilty to do this...I know it will work! However, I am not waiting for "group approval" here...no need to! Will save this thread for later discussion so more can view and be inspired to start thier wheels!

This should have taken root while we were having our meetups and canvasing our neighborhoods. My experience with that however is that too many people were there only for the man & not the message. And consequently, dispersed into the oblivion.
Seems so many were & are still WAITING for a leader to arise instead of arising as a leader themselves, myself included.
This is an on time post. We all need to come to terms within ourselves. We are at a cross road & need to choose individually which road we are going to take.
I tend to get caught up on details & seldom make a choice & stick with it. That's my own personal weakness that I must overcome.
The circles within circles gave me visual clairity, I thank you for your post. I believe, speaking for myself that I am on my way to doing just that, however.... my circles of people are mostly an hours drive away from me. Which leaves me feeling alone & vulnerable. Again, the leader within me must rise up ... not sure what the tipping point will be on that.
In this day & age of liars, thieves and murderers, I am going to have to learn to trust. I would suspect that I am not alone in the trust department but sooner or later we will have to start or we are done.
