Democrats Cover Up Bush Era War Crimes

The Associated Press writes:

"Two Obama advisers said there's little—if any—chance that the incoming president's Justice Department will go after anyone involved in authorizing or carrying out interrogations that provoked worldwide outrage."

And when Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy was asked if Bush officials could face war crimes, he responded:

"In the United States, no. These things are not going to happen."

This is not entirely surprising, given that Democratic congress members Nancy Pelosi, Jane Harman and John D. Rockefeller were secretly briefed on torture many, many years ago, and yet did nothing to stop those unlawful programs. Indeed, they egged the torturers on (for example, the above-linked Washington Post article says "no objections were raised. Instead, at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder").

Remember, those who authorize or cover up war crimes are themselves guilty of war crimes. The Democratic leadership thus has every incentive to cover up war crimes.

The fix is already in. Only massive pressure on the government can force war crimes trials.

No-brainer. (I'm sure it will come as a shock to Naomi Wolf.)

Of course the Democrats are going cover up impeachable Bush war crimes and illegal spying, because, in Congress, they approved of them.

Naomi Wolf will probably rationalize it...

...as a good and necessary tactic in "The People's Counter-Coup."

War Crimes Against Humanity

This is a grievous outrage. I hope and pray that everyone involved in ALL of these autrosities is punished to the FULLEST extent.

Doublespeak

Approximately 4 minute 38 second mark.

The more things "CHANGE"

the more they stay the same. The politicians only do what the criminals at the top tell them or permit them to do. The only crime they'd be held accountable for is the crime of double crossing the NWO. As long as they do as told they are Teflon men.

On a somewhat more hopeful note, I'm beginning to think that the Achilles' heel of the NWO is its open borders policy. The Muslims have taken great advantage of it in Europe. The only remaining enemies of the NWO -- willing to die for their cause -- are entrenched (and training) in their midst. Unfortunately, when revolution breaks out, much innocent blood will flow along with the guilty. It's just a matter of a short time. When bellies start to growl, things will flair up.

The American people must

The American people must hold those accountable for war crimes. History must show that even though our elected officials looked the other way, the American people did not. We must step up and let the record show that the people let their voices be heard......that we condemn all crimes against humanity.

(No subject)

They are all in there together

It is the government verses the people. No checks and balances in our government system. The government is larger and wealthier than the people.

No need for hearings on war crimes...

Here in the good ole USofA we only spend millions of taxpayer dollars investigating a BJ in the oval office, not the plan and execution of murder and torture of civilians. Take off your aluminum hats, you must be crazy....

In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.

Yes and it's certainly different

from the time in history when Nixon was forced to resign. Although he was involved in mass murder for his secret bombings of Cambodia and Laos, he was only investigated for being a "crook," involved in massive corruption and deceit. Now that's so commonplace, it's practically expected.

I don't even think he killed nearly as many as the Bush administration has. I guess the thought of investigating war crimes is almost an oxymoron to those who think war is always necessary and any type of killing in a war is justified.

Even Lt. William Calley, found guilty after the mass murder/massacre of 109 civilians in Viet Nam in 1969, only served 3 1/2 years under "house arrest."

It's even tougher now to make charges of war crimes stick, ever since Nixon created the "Imperial Presidency"...

To those obamba

To those obamba supporters,How's that "change" going so far?

It's going to be the same old people in different positions.

Like the mafia, the crime boss might change, but the organization continues to work the same.

THE FEDERAL RESERVE - Americas OVERLORD

It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.

End of America

Hey, where the hell is Naomi Wolf on all of this? This is her boy that she voted for.

I seem to recall from listening to Naomi that it's a "race against time" to put the bad guys in jail before a fascist coup takes place. Well, it looks like she voted in favor of covering-up the crimes of the bad guys. So much for "buying time" as she espoused in her rationalization of her vote for Lord Obama.

I'm seeing a screening of her film

on Thursday. I think she is going to be there. I'll ask her

Answer

She's off the reservation—if she was ever on the reservation in the first place.

The fix is in, indeed...

With the addition of Gates to Team Obomba as Secretary of Defense, I guess the Obomba Koolaid drinkers are choosing to remain blisfully ignorant that Obomba represents discernible "change" from the imperial presidency of George W. Bush.

Some of my favorite highlights:

Asked this weekend during a Vermont Public Radio interview if Bush administration officials would face war crimes, Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy flatly said, "In the United States, no."

"These things are not going to happen," said Leahy, D-Vt.

Robert Litt, a former top Clinton administration Justice Department prosecutor, said Obama should focus on moving forward with anti-torture policy instead of looking back.

"Both for policy and political reasons, it would not be beneficial to spend a lot of time hauling people up before Congress or before grand juries and going over what went on," Litt said at a Brookings Institution discussion about Obama's legal policy. "To as great of an extent we can say, the last eight years are over, now we can move forward — that would be beneficial both to the country and the president, politically."

...and this one takes the cake:

"I have said repeatedly that America doesn't torture..." Barack H. Obama

Which NeoCon have I heard say that before VERBATIM?
