I find it a little bazzar that an international body can go
into our banking system and see whats going on but congress cannot. That should make people pretty mad and prove that the people are not being taken seriously.

He really isn't providing much evidence of this. In fact, I haven't heard much about the G-20 meeting at all. I need more details.
Ron Paul had said that it would take many meetings to come to an agreement on this financial crisis.
However, it may explain why Bush didn't shake anyone's hands during the photo. Hmmmm.

Dick Morris bought into the whole line of bull from Karl Rove, that winning the future for the republican party meant being weak on illegal immigration and pro-amnesty for illegal aliens to get a majority of the hispanic vote, since in their view, the hispanic vote is really all that matters for the future becuase they want out of control illegal immigration(80% hispanic) to continue and give amnesty to illegals like Reagan did(they get more of the hispanic vote doing that, but then they lose more of the white vote in the process and the white vote still dwarfs the hispanic vote). That didn't work out so well for John McCain who bought into that line of bull too. Obama got far more of the hispanic vote than John McCain(and McCain was very weak on illegal immigration and about as pro amnesty as any republican has ever been).

The EU has too many problems itself to control even Iceland not to say the US.
Just three points:
1. The Euro is about to fail due to the diverse econimcal situations in the members states that make a common monetary policy impossible;
2. The EU-Constitution/Lisbon treaty is in a deadlock due to the failed referendum in Ireland.Without institutional reform the EU is hardly capabel of acting.
3. The financial crisis shows that leaders of the member states are more interested in looking good for their own national electorate than serving the 'common purpose'
Not that I'm unlucka about this, but saying the EU is about to take over the US is ridiculous.

just because there is no 'formal' declaration that the usa is now apart of/ working with the eu doesn't mean the integration isn't slowly happening behind the scenes.
let me give you an example of how it has happened in canada. in my profession, this summer, we had to start reporting 'suspicious' transactions.
i have to fill out an 'identity form' on EVERY client.
this is now law in canada. but where oh where did the requirement for canada to adhere to these 'new rules' come from??? the EU.
they want to track money. who has it. what you're doing with it. etc...
not complying is NOT an option. they made the first time penalty so brutal that there will be 100% compliance.
someone 'might' be able to fight it under our charter of rights and freedoms.
i won't even name the legislation because we're not allowed to even talk about it with people.
this can all be done behind the scenes by unelected officials.
if the people in texas hadn't gotten all actively fired up about protecting their land, we'd all be living on one happy, sorta borderless little continent and the nau would have snuck right up on us.
i'll give you another example. the public in canada and the usa didn't get a voice in the agreement between our militarys to police each other's streets in the event of civil unrest.
my colleagues look at me as if i just grew two heads when i mention that one.
one of my colleague said to me that 'oh the people would never stand for that'. that's how clueless people are. she's also pro gun control. not even for hunting or farmers etc. her husband thinks canada needs gun control because of the murders in canada. he didn't even believe me when i told him that in canada most murders are by a knife, not a gun. we don't have a gun problem in canada. we have a knife problem. what? you gonna ban all the kitchen knives? dumbasses.

We have GOT to take leadership against this or there will be no more chances--mark my words. If we don't do something fast, there will be nothing left to fight for. there was strategy in Obama not attending. So that when it was done, he will have the option of saying it was out of his hands. I figured things were going on there that would not be openly presented to the people.
I wondered why Obama shied away from this meeting...
