Health Care and the Virtual Conspiracy

As part of its overall strategy to undermine America, destroy the middle-class, and socialize our economy; the Virtual Conspiracy is preparing another immigrant invasion. This time it will be third world physicians.
As my brother wrote in an email today:
One sure-fire way to predict when they're about to pass a law importing a bunch of foreign labor is when two condition exist:
1) The press starts reporting a "shortage" of some skill
2) The wages paid for that skill have not been rising"Primary care doctors in short supply.
Primary care doctors are an endangered breed of physician, a new survey suggests.
The Physicians' Foundation, an Irving, Texas, non-profit group of
state medical societies and physician leaders, commissioned a survey in May of virtually every primary care doctor in the USA as well as 50,000 doctors in subspecialties such as cardiology. Primary care doctors include family practitioners, general internists, pediatricians and obstetricians/gynecologists."
In a truly free market, the income for primary care physicians would have risen as the laws of supply and demand kicked in.
Burt even as health care costs of "skyrocketed" (and the baby boomers have been aging, requiring much more health care) the income of primary care physicians has been steadily declining.
This is a sign of market manipulation. Health care is already one of the most highly regulated industries. As a family physician I could write a book about the ill effects of federal government interference on my profession.
But as in most problems CAUSED by the federal government, their SOLUTION will be more of the same BAD MEDICINE.
And one of Their "solutions" for the current "doctor shortage" will be to allow a great influx of foreign-born MD's to further freeze out the employment opportunities for the native-born, aggravate racial tension, and promote the de-Americanization of our culture.

Same thing with RNs
The "nursing shortage" is only in THIS country. My husband's employer proudly proclaims their efforts to train nurses in third world countries. They claim they have fifty nurses for every position they need to fill, but the US Government won't let them in because the Nursing lobby is fighting it. When the socialized medicine gets authorized, then the floodgates will open and there will be NO decent jobs in this country, not even in healthcare.
"Jobs that Americans don't want"?
The rationale behind George Bush's laissez faire policy toward illegal immigration was that they were doing jobs the "we" didn't want to do.
What he actually should have said was that AMERICANS did not want to do them for 3rd world wages.
When I worked in Las Vegas, the hospitals were filled with Filipino nurses. It was the exception, not the rule, to talk with a nurse without a thick (and sometimes almost unintelligible) accent.
Federal government meddling has made EVERY job in health care (from hospital CEO to custodian) harder, less remunerative, and generally less fulfilling.
Like I said, I could write a book.
