it will rebound Im sure

Not due to demand so much as a weakening of the dollar by this reckless federal government.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants

Why is gas so cheap?

Can anyone explain it in Dummy terms?

Cheap gas makes me happy. Will it stay cheap?

It isn't really cheap

We have just been conditioned to accept $4.89 diesel and $4.35 gasoline, so now that we have $2.75 diesel & $1.85 gas then we think it is cheap. There isn't much cheap anymore and with the influx of non-existent dollars that keeps getting put into the economy it won't be long before we are back at the "high" prices.

Three or four years ago we would have thought that the current prices are to high. We are going through a period of deflation currently, but soon we will be back into the inflation of prices.

Thank you Dr. Paul for making me act on what I already knew was right.

Prices will deflate, until people realize,

that the dollar is worthless.

A bad christmas shopping season, and untold numbers of layoffs will send the economy into a tailspin.

So just about the time Obama takes office, gold and silver will skyrocket along with every other commodity, and hyperinflation will be here.

I thought this was "ready for $70 oil".

Where are all my buddies telling me everything is just fine?
Where are all those cool and collected heads who have figured out the market and who like to express themselves as so much smarter than us good ole boys?
I just watched Peter Schiff spank the twits on Fast Money and I just smiled in content.
I am glad Obama has been elected as it will accelerate the destruction of this fucked up nation. Let's bring this bitch to her knees and sort the men from the boys.
And another thing for all....sick all your religious opinions up you asses and keep them there. That means to keep them to yourself. No one cares about your religious bullshit opinions as they will have zero affect upon what is coming down the pipe.

you'll like this.

Yeah

AMEN! To hell with all the sheeple. It's time for a cleansing.

The market is in a blind

The market is in a blind panic right now (has been for many months). These people couldn't find their butts with both hands.
.................
Truther?
No, sir!

With gas prices so low

why do food prices keep going up?

Not all of them are.

I track certain benchmarks as part of my grocery shopping here in CA.

Eggs, for example, have been steady all summer long. Even with the travesty of Prop 2 passing out here, the prices haven't changed a penny in months

Because oil alone isn't

Because oil alone isn't affecting food prices. Food prices are rising regardless of what the stock markets and petroleum do.

Why is diesel still so high?

It used to be a little cheaper than unleaded, now it's way more. Does anyone know why?

Diesel has dropped by 40%

not as much as gasoline (55%), but still going down.

All the filtering and "safe for the enviroment" crap

Along with the taxes. My delivery truck has been broken down until this morning, some what of a blessing, diesel has dropped about 30 cents a gallon, so I have "saved" about $9.00 since it has been out of commission, vs. if I filled up Monday. When I bought that truck I could fill up both tanks for $48, Now if I come in under a $110 I feel happy.

Also read up on the latest EPA crap they did, with diesel, it has had almost all the lubricating stuff taken out(sulfur & other), so basically in an old truck like mine if I don't add a supplement I'll slowly be cooking my engine.

Thank you Dr. Paul for making me act on what I already knew was right.

Around 1992, 1996, and 2007

I am pretty sure on those years, that is when they passed clean diesel legislation. That is why you don't see the semis bletch out the black smoke anymore. We saved a snail or two, but helped contribute to the bankruptcy of the country along the way.

Thank you Dr. Paul for making me act on what I already knew was right.

Correct me if i'm wrong

But isn't the black smoke just carbon? It doesn't even go into the atmosphere.

Don't know

But if it came from the earth I don't see how using it and then returning the remainder in smoke and other things will do any harm. And in so much as every living thing is based in carbon, then how in the poop does returning carbon to the earth hurt anything?

Thank you Dr. Paul for making me act on what I already knew was right.

Diesel Tax

Google your state and diesel tax.... State and FED gov tax diesel differently than regular gas!

Because their is still a market

Shipping trucks and such.. It's the back bone of the product distribution.. Now that most Rail car is dismanteled

Well it's pissing me off

I want my cheap diesel back.

goes like this

we sold worthless bonds to foreigners. they can't sell them so are dumping oil to make up their losses. once they exit the dollar completely, expect gas to be $200 +.

if you can store fuel, do it. you'll be saving yourself a few thousand bucks.

Ah yes the calm before the storm.

It wont last forever.

I was just saying...

I can't believe it. I guess we'll start seeing all those SUVs back on the street.

-----
Stock up, it's gonna be a long winter.

Why be "ready" for $40 oil...it's $47.90 now

no "ready" necessary.

can you say

can you say depression?
