The way I figure, even if there is a lot of bad news exposed here - at least that enables us to prepare for it the best that we can. Imagine all those people out there who have no clue. Their lives will truly be destroyed because they are not ready at all for when the bad news finally becomes reality. We here at DP might be more aware of the bad news, but we will also be more prepared for it as well - in the end this might be the thing that saves your life rather than destroying it.

It's obvious that freedom is not popular, if it were wouldn't we see more truth in places like Jon Stewart, Colbert, etc., etc., they have been exposed to the truth and yet they run from it rather than embrace it.

THEY KNOW PEOPLE WOULD LOVE HIS MESSAGE..AND WOULD BECOME DIE HARD RON PAUL FOLLOWERS...because he talks about freedom. So Yes FREEDOM IS POPULAR...

To answer your question..How do you deal with it?
YOU TAKE PROACTIVE MEASURES. in plans that are not a waste of time. Actions put into specific plans that will create RESULTS THAT WILL GET YOU WHAT YOU WANT. Many plans "sound" good..but they have no punch or substance. Let me give you a small example... lets say you have a choice. Stand on a street corner waving a Ron Paul sign (or some other) or spend say the same time sending out specific invites to RP republicans to attend their local state convention..or county convention,etc.. where they will vote for new local leadership..that will reshape the agenda for all local Republicans in that state/county for the next year. Your emails may get 20-30 people there that will show up..changing the agenda..and focus for the entire county/state. While your sign waving.. does very little.

The above example is why you and many others on here and elsewhere are feeling frustrated. You are putting actions and energy into tasks that will not produce the result that you want!

11. Sought through education and activism to improve our conscious support and furtherance of liberty as we understood it, seeking knowledge of the Constitution and the power to carry it out.
12. Having had a Constitutional awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

I use this site to keep me informed on the news and stay focused on my actions, working with with to bring changes, energises me. If you only read negitive news and do nothing to change it, then it would be depressing....and frankly a waiste of time, being educated and doing nothing with the education...hhmmm, i would rather just go fishing....use your new found education, we all need you.

as I found myself depressed today over my inability to return to ignorant bliss. Last night I watched the video of G. Edward Griffin's 1982 interview with Norman Dodd, the lead investigator for the Reece commission looking into the tax exempt foundations in America.

As I, a twice supporter of Bush, have only recently experienced my awakening, and through that experience, my acceptance of Conspiracy Theories with regards to the world's power structure, I have long held a self-preserving caveat in my heart that I may be wrong in my new found assumptions. I self-deceptively relied on this possibility, especially in outright argument with a West Point father, intimately involved and supportive of the military enforcement of U.S. policy and morally attached to that position to the detriment of reason and self-honesty. My ingrained respect for my father's views, coupled with my long-held acquiescence and adoption of them, provided some sort of "out" for me should I start to question my own sanity or be overwhelmed by my new understandings. I was subconsciously telling myself that, if I wanted to return to Kansas, I could simply click my heels and say, "yeah...you're probably right dad" and somehow ignore or devalue all I have researched and learned. Their was some spark of a possibilty that my reasoning may somehow allow me turn my back on my own intellectual integrity, thereby saving my emotions from what often feels like negative forces swirling about my being and nipping at my soul.

But the reality is that those days are long gone, and now in my 50's, impossible to find again. With the viewing of this video, the lid was shut on my new box and I am now forever its prisoner. I mourn for my lost innocence and ignorance and I weep for my fellow citizen's for we have much to overcome and little stomach for it.

This is also why I come here, for it is here that I validate myself by interacting with so many other like-minded and informed people. My time here is my lifeline to normalcy and hope and I thank you all for being here.

Yes, well if the saying, "the truth will set you free" carries any weight and the truth has been kept from plan view for your entire life then you have a lot of catching up to do if you want to be free. Personally I love accumulating knowledge. It isn't good news I know but accumulating knowledge and deciphering the truth triggers a thought mechanism which I can see being very addictive.

As for ruining your life that's purely subjective. The more information you accumulate the more you begin to realize that your life was ruined before you were born. Not exactly a fulfilling epiphany but that's what's left when you hose it off.

People can simply ignore this and take whatever they have coming to them. Or you can prepare yourself for the blow, minimize your losses, and be there to say, "I told you so" in hopes people will finally wake up and be more receptive to what we're saying. The programming from birth isn't something that will break easy. But when it does it is important to be the one standing there with the answers.

Stewart, Colbert and the like are really stuck they can't say to much or the show is over and the reality is the majority of bovine America isn't ready to wake up. I imagine someday people will look back and say to me, "why didn't somebody do something?" At which time I'll proceed to chew their ass about personal responsibility and not blaming others for their own ignorance. Perhaps Stewart and Colbert have been so deep in it they've gone completely mad and that's why they use humor and comedy to stay sane. I try to have a sense of humor, but I'm not sure where that sense of humor derives, i just hope it's not insanity. It's hard to take anything too serious these days because you know the whole thing is a fraud and there's really little you can do about anything directly. The only thing that will work is for our ideas to reach critical mass. That can only happen if enough people are aware of their own demise.

Good topic. I think I broke up with my ex-girlfriend about 4 months ago because of the Ron Paul movement...

I was so obsessed with the movement and she had absolutely no interest and she also voted for Obama. I did register her but couldn't get her to be interested at all with politics. But it was a failing relationship anyways. Besides, now the possibilties are endless :), just the other night I woke up between 2 girls, just made out with one though, but still waiting for that damsel in freedom armor!

Just not FEMA. It's time for people to get slapped in the face. If we want to take this country back this is the time to do it.
