Operator...Can you give me the number for LIBERTY please??

It's our job, as Ron's spporters, to break down any barriers that stand in the way of us and victory. There's a new tool that we should be using in all future marketing of Ron Paul to improve his visibility and remove additional barriers to more donations.

That tool is the new toll-free number, 1-877-RON-PAUL (that's 1-877-766-7285). Does anyone have a better number to remember the good Dr. Paul? And what other candidate has their very own toll-free number for their campaign? Just another indicator that the Ron Paul campaign is THE campaign of the 2008 election.

I'm reposting this because 1-877-RON-PAUL is not yet incorporated into the marketing mix at TeaParty07.com site; and it likely should be. Here's why. Older people need to have an alternative way to give to the Ron Paul campaign outside of donating on the net. Many don't have internet access, and of those that do, many will not give their credit card over the web for fear of compromising their info. They are a lot more likely to call in their donation via this easy-to-remember toll-free number.

So, please use this number, 1-877-RON-PAUL (and it's numerical equivalent 1-877-766-7285), in all your print pieces; on all your websites; when calling into radio stations, etc. $200K came in over the phone on 11-5. We can turn up the volume of donations over the phone both on 12-16, and in general. Not to mention the fact that those wanting to find out more about Dr. Paul, including getting involved, requesting information, etc.

The number is great

on printed pieces, but not on the teaparty site, because the people who go there already have access to the internet. Think for a minute.

Leave the teaparty site alone. Doesn't anyone understand the principle of overkill? That's when the people you want to attract get glazed-over, because you gave them too much information at one time!

The purpose of the teaparty site is NOT really to instruct people about all of Ron Paul's positions and all he ever did. It gives just enough right now to INTRIGUE and encourage people to learn more. It introduces them to the idea of the (hidden) inflation tax.

That's fantastic as it is. Leave it alone.

As for including it on printed materials given to those who would call rather than use the internet, I think that's a great idea.

true

about 10% of people won't use the web for CC..

One problem with what's

One problem with what's written above. Steer clear of words like "militia." I know this is kind of self censorship, but you don't want to give anyone quotes to use against us (e.g. his supporters call it a revolution and claim they are in a militia - that is bad press). Just keep pushing the Love part!

We ARE the Militia, Tovarisch.

Every able bodied citizen of the united States is a member in good standing (until convicted of a felony or otherwise lawfully disenfranchised) of the Unorganized Militia. I was in the Standing Military for only four years (USAF), but have been a member of the militia since first registering to vote in 1974. Don't let them box us in or define us. We must sieze and redeem such terms and return to their intended meaning. We are the militia referred to in the Second Article of Amendment, and only when our right to keep and bear arms is uninfringed can we be well regulated (practiced, ready, and prepared.)

This is VERY TRUE!! Should also be listed on the USA Today Ad

MANY people are still leery of typing in their credit card info using the web.

USA Today Ad..

I sent a private message over to the man placing the ad to suggest that he use the new 1-877-RON-PAUL number. I'm not sure if he's had a chance to weigh in on this.

I've been doing telecom for 7 years and this, my friends, is a no-brainer. You always use a toll-free number for your customers, and make it good (nice looking, or easy to remember).

When using this number, give it top billing at the top of your sites promoting Ron Paul. Don't bury it so people have to search for it. If no one uses it, then it costs the campaign nothing. It's a win-win.
