Extra Extra...Congress makes automakers beg

I guess Citgroup, AIG, and some of the others have a secret key to the back door of Congress, but let the poor, tired auto industry come a calling, and these spineless congresspeople like to get up on their soapbox and demand accountability. What a crock of shit. These lawbreakers are printing up phoney money...are they giving the taxpaying auto workers any accountability of what they're doing? Of course not. Compare the auto group to the banking group. Sure the auto guys have a couple of jet planes around, and maybe they pay their execs some big money, but nothing like the banking boys. The auto boys have been building infrastructure and good jobs for Americans for as long as anyone can remember. And people have been buying the products. As an industry, they have led the world for many years with innovation and technology. Banks, on the other hand, have been creeping around with foreign slugs with shady dealings on a grand scale. They just happen to be the pony boys for the Federal Reserve. I'm livid at the way our Congress cuddles up to them, and treats the auto boys with the highhand. The whole economy is collapsing because of 2 governmental irresponsibilities: allowing unlimited credit accumulation of derivitive trading (that got way out of control) and the unchecked price of oil going to $150.00. Our government could have done plenty to thwart that, but the Bush team kindof liked what they were seeing. They thought it was making all their stolen oil in Iraq that much more valuable. But, that's when the consumer's back started breaking. I'd love to flush the whole bunch of 'em in Washington.
