A message to the citizens of the U.S from Australia and the U.K: "Do Not Under Any Circumstances Give Up Your Guns"
No matter what transpires in the United States of America in the coming months to years, it is extremely important that citizens of the United States do not give up their rights to keep and bear arms. This right is protected under the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, drafted in 1791.

There's no danger of that
There's no danger of that happening. There are millions of Americans who will fight to preserve the right to keep and bear arms. It's actually the only one of our liberties that is secure in the fact that millions will defend it.
SUPPORT OUR FOUNDERS' AMERICA
Support the Constitution of the United States
that's why
they are working to stage more vicious terrorist attacks. Let's hope none of us libertarians will be killed because of that.
From what I've been reading and hearing, there are a
considerable number of people in the U.S. who have gotten this message, at least to some extent. It's a month after the election and the move to purchase firearms and ammunition continues. Lately, even the reloading components have become harder to acquire.

Comes to mind.. My cold dead hands.
I'm joining the NRA
I recommend others do the same
I used to be a member..
I think they have been infiltrated.

ditto - GOA absolutely!
forget the NRA...they are compromised!
one of the biggest lobbies in dc.
Ron Paul is My President
Gun Owners of America...
Is the ONLY gun organization worth supporting. They are the ONLY no compromise organization. They understand that the Second Amendment in not about the NRA or hunting. They understand that it's all about protecting oneself against tyrannical government. Larry Pratt understands National Sovereignty and Freedom the "other guys" do not. The NRA is classified as a NGO (non government agency) and has an office in the United Nations building in NYC!
How's that for sleeping with the enemy? Wake up gun owners. There is supposedly 80 million gun owners in the country. Shame, shame people.
Also, everyone needs to watch the documentary "Innocence Betrayed" put out by Aaron Zelman's organization JPFO (Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership)
Life Member of the GOA!

Screw the NRA, bunch of compromising sellouts and traitors.
Gun Owners of America are light years better than the NRA.

Celeste.... the NRA is just
Celeste.... the NRA is just like the Republican't party.. they are inflitrated with liberal gun grabbers! I would join Gun owners of America.. or Jews for the preservation of firearms.. here in Colorado we have a organization called Rocky Mountain gun owners! THE NRA SUCKS!

Thanks for the info
I was unaware of this. I just know in the past they had tremendous influence with stopping legislation doing with gun control. We need to get behind an organization with clout to stop any eroding of the 2nd amendment.
We could all give them up
170 grains at a time, after they get a few hundred pounds this way they may not want the remainder.
Thank you Dr. Paul for making me act on what I already knew was right.
We know that...and the powers that be, know we know that...
that is why they will dry-up the ammo supply...and powder & primers too.

Great rifleman program
I recently attended a great program from the Revolutionary War Veterans Assoc. The program is called "Project Appleseed" No it's not about planting trees. The program is to awaken the spirit in us of our founders of this country. They can teach you about the start of our the US revolution an practice on becoming a true rifleman. I had a blast in Davilla Texas. I am the future of this country and my fellow veterans are well aware of what's going on. Check out this terrific program. They have appleseed shoots in many states.

Thank you so much!! But please make this important post an active topic for more to see! This is a great program and seems to be very organized!
I love the pledge http://www.appleseedinfo....
TAKE THE PLEDGE
Now everyone is gonna wanna be a Freddy Appleseed, and you can’t blame ‘em. Welcome aboard, I say. But an important task like saving America shouldn’t be expected to proceed without some formality. It is, after all, an important task: we need you to sign up for the duration, not for the moment. So here’s what you do. Pledge the following, to yourself (who better?):
Starting this minute, I pledge to reach down deep inside myself and wake up that sleeping American, the Rifleman.
I pledge to get my sleeping American to the range, so he can learn to shoot.
I pledge I will reach out to my friend, my coworker, my relative, to wake up their sleeping American.
I pledge I will do whatever it takes to help my friends, my coworkers, my relatives learn to shoot as Riflemen, to preserve our tradition of marksmanship for future generations.
I pledge to get active in the soft war, the struggle for freedom at the soap box and the ballot box, now.
I pledge to persist, to not give up, to be in this for the duration, to adopt as my motto “Never Give Up!”
I pledge to plant seeds of marksmanship and freedom whenever and wherever I can, understanding I may never know the
results.
I pledge to form a rifleman club and to build a range, if necessary.
I pledge that I understand I cannot do it all myself, nice as that would be, but that I will need help, and I will get that help by enlisting others in the fight.
I pledge to recruit whenever and wherever I can, understanding some will be better as shooters, some better as recruiters, some as teachers, some as fund-raisers.
I pledge I will PERSIST. [So important, you need to pledge it twice.]
This pledge given voluntarily on this ___________ day of _____________________, 2005 and if I fail to live up to it, I understand I can lose my firearms, my freedom, and my country. So help me God.

Now we know who the coffins are for
all the "cold dead hands"
As old Charlton Heston said it... "FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS"
A nation which has forgotten the quality of courage which in the past has been brought to public life is not as likely to insist upon or regard that quality in its chosen leaders today - and in fact we have forgotten.
John F. Kennedy
Perhaps you know that
a massacre ( in Tasmania), was the occassion which the government here used to have the kneejerk reaction to push through the gun control laws. The plans were in the pipe line for quite some time, just needed the occasion with the population in the right frame of mind to mostly willingly give up their guns. Be aware.

The Port Arthur Massacre: Was Martin Bryant Framed? Part 1 of 3
18.01.2008
In the 10 years since the massacre at Port Arthur, Tasmania, the authorities continue to ignore concerns that there is no hard evidence to implicate Martin Bryant as the gunman.
There is a total of 3 parts to this. Conspiracy? Judge for yourself.
Be aware of what is happening in your own country re massacres.
Sounds like the same old
Problem-reaction-solution paradigm
The Problem Reaction Solution Paradigm (The Hegelian Dialectic)
1) The government creates or exploits a problem blaming it on others
2) The people react by asking the government for help willing to give up their rights
3) The government offers the solution that was planned long before the crisis

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

"Observe the masses, and do the opposite."
It will be the same here
Unless there's a bunch of balls-out people willing to die BEFORE they take your gun.
Personally, this is why I say why not be the aggressor. If you're willing to die for it, they'll either kill you at a time you didn't plan or one you did.

Just One Gun?
That's a good start. Might consider adding a failsafe revolver and a rifle at hand. Tactical lights attached, a vest and muffs are also handy. Don't forget the easy slip-on boots, dog alerts and intrusion alarms. My goal is to never, ever have to fire in anger. But I do believe in the boy scout motto.
