Here's the first report from the media after the event that I know of:

It's MOSTLY good, but you can still detect the subtle jabs.
The article claims 400, but we'll have to see what witnesses say.

Beltram a Supporter?
I love this comment at the end of the article:
“I left feeling like a hero,†Beltram said. “I got more positive comments after that event than all the other presidential events combined.â€
This is the same Beltram that originally told Paul he was not welcome to his county. Quite a 180!
Fulton Co. GOP BBQ
Please also see my friend Joy at the table for RON PAUL at the Fulton Co. GOP BBQ which is to take place tomorrow also.

We're driving in from Huntsville, AL
If you're close, come to the rally!
Coming from Atlanta
We'll be there with our family from Atlanta. Our 3 kids want to meet Ron Paul and hold signs too. This is our first-ever Presidential rally to attend. (Our background is years of listening to Hannity/Rush, so I guess that makes us "kooky" Ron Paul supporters )
Everyone who's coming to this needs to cover their car with Ron Paul bumperstickers and signs so that all the traffic on I-85 from Atlanta to Greenville will see the size of the support for RP!
Hah!
We love you 'kooks'.
Just remember, the more popular Ron gets the more the attacks will increase! Stay the course and let this all roll off your backs.
(Wish I could take my own advice, but I really love this man and what they are trying to do to silence him is criminal)
dont go by eventful
when we had that rally in des moines iowa only about 30 people rsvped through eventful, but look how many showed up.1100? this could be huge! i encourage anyone going who hasnt rsvped with eventful to do so for media purposes.we need a somewhat acurate count.also dont forget even though iowa got 1100 people there, the media said we had about 500-600 so someone could be lying again, you never know, i think it will be huge, i hope.
I don't think they are going by eventful....
This is the actual quote by that Beltram guy in SC who was trying to ban Ron Paul to begin with:
http://www.goupstate.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070719...
It's almost as if he's the happiest man on earth.
And take a look at how they imply it won't be legit if most are from out of SC.
Take a look at this excerpt, and be prepared to get mad:
GOP chairman weighs in
Spartanburg County Republican Party Chairman Rick Beltram said if it looks that way, it's because it is that way.
Another 50 people registered on Wednesday, Beltram said. But of the 225 who had responded by Tuesday, about 80 were coming from out-of-state and another 70 were county residents who attend nearly every GOP function.
Beltram said that events held at Summit Pointe for John McCain and Mitt Romney each attracted more than 600 people - mostly from inside the state - and both cost more per person.
"I told the Paul people today that if you look at it as he's getting 1 percent in national polling, then this is a pretty good response," Beltram said. "If you believe he's doing much better than that, then these numbers should have been much higher. If it doesn't grow much, it tells me there are a small number of people on the Ron Paul bandwagon."

Figures
It's quite telling how when he gets huge rallies, those are quietly ignored. But as soon as one rally is smaller than expected, they jump right in to report it.
SC rally organizers claim numbers are small so far
We need to prove them wrong.
But they are going to squawk if it's mostly out-of-towners.

Shoutout to ATL!!
We will be going to Spartanburg! This is our Iowa. We must have a great showing to keep this train running. I know there are many liberty-loving Paul Supporters in Atlanta. If you have not already done so, please check with your local meetup group, and RSVP to join the caravan up I-85.
Peace be with y'all.
This event will be, like,
This event will be, like, the HIGHLIGHT of my life...Can't wait until Saturday!
