Washington DC Declared 4th Amendment Free Zone.
Random and unannounced searches in public. Nice. I went to the 4th of July fireworks every year of my life until 2002. When I had to go through a security checkpoint every 200 yards (not exaggerating) I decided DC had become a different town altogether. In the 80's and 90's we usually stood in the reflecting pool, in 2008 I'll bet people went to jail for it.
I have no idea if the "smoke-in" still happens either. Sad
Here's the story:

All land within 100 miles of coast is a 4th amendment free zone.
Thanks Patriot Act..
One Voice, One Vision, One Love ~ Liberty.

It is not just 4th amendment free, it is Constitution free.
This is really bad news. I honestly had forgotten about this
I'm speechless (haha free-speechless)
Mike, I do believe there is something about DC though
that's different again. Something like it being not even USA home soil, more like an enclave. Trying to think where I read about it. I do recall that the article said it was a little know fact.
I read that too. Makes the strange lack of support
for state's rights make sense though.
It wasn't an article that I read it, bits and pieces are coming
back to me now, and I can visualise what I saw. It was in a documentary but which one? Ring of Power? Not to worry... now I got this far with remembering, it'll come back to me. Might have a look at my stack of documentaries on HD.
Found first reference..
Ring of Power part 1, 36.20 minutes into it talks about Washington DC, London and the Vatican : belonging to no nation, paying no taxes, having their own flag and own security forces...
also , 46 minutes into it: interesting details regarding London, listen to the details about the connections with Washington DC
Notet: it says: it has its own separate independent constitution!
As a side note: having watched Ring of Power quite some time ago, I can recommend for anyone to watch it again. Many details I missed then now somehow stick out!.
